got a lot of nerve calling charles straight
like he is literally if bisexuality was a person
Isn't he bisexual in the comics? So the guy hasn't even done his research.
@@ericamacs3875 ikrrr like do ur research next time
@@ericamacs3875yeah like do ur research next time
They have never said he was in the show…yeah in the comics he is but they are also 13 in the comics but they changed their age in the show…they don’t follow the characters origin like it was in the comics. Could his sexuality change as the series goes on…yeah but who knows.
I love their portrayal of a healthy male friendship, the way the characters openly express their love and appreciation for each other in the show is how it should be in real life
I feel like this show had friendship as a core theme and the actors really brought that out brilliantly
0:56 George just starting off his response with "Right-" after that interviewers whole spiel is sending me
why is this reporter forcing the charles straight character agenda when that word was never used in the first place? like wtf
charles being the most visibly twink ass character on screen no less. like theres no way in hell that guy is straight_
I really like how the cast and creatives made sure to insist on the lack of the need for labels. Labels aren't used in the show and it works beautifully without them. It also leaves Charles and Edwin's relationship open and full of possibilities.
Why does everyone assume Charles is straight 😭😭😭😭 saying he's "not in love" with edwin doesn't mean he's straight 😭😭😭😭😭
I think the "labels don't exist" is the perfect description for this show. It doesn't feel pushed or compulsive vouge. I can't watch shows anymore where the two gays NEED to come together, where they NEED to be vouge and hip. In this show it just feels normal, comforting and not so fake. I love it
i will die on the Charles is bisexual hill
Same- we might just die on that hill too
Same I was like dude who are you calling straight here???
like he cannonically is bisexual, even if the show doesn't reference it
charles in the comics is explicitly bi, but edwins sexuality is never clarified
no bc the second i saw him i was like ‘he’s bi’, i’m always gonna die on that hill, plus in the comics he’s canonically bisexual
Assuming charles is straight is strange.
fr like i’m gonna die on the ‘charles is bi’ hill
Friendship can be deep as love
Friendship CAN be love
Character development is really good!!. Great show!
season 2 when ??
when Charles protects Crystal from David and she thanks him...
really felt that.
Annoyed a bit with the interviewer but love how George and Jayden rebutt
Actually I was kinda upset that they weren't together at the end. I mean, yes, their friendship is a beautiful thing also an example for others. But the show did such a good job in showing Edwin's feelings and the crush he has on Charles that I was rooting for them so much. And because it's a Neil Gaiman story I really thought they would end up as a couple :(
Dude it’s only the first season, hold that thought.
@@nglulakaja8922 All the good shows I like on Netflix got cancelled so I just hope this one gets a s2. But I mean you're right. It was just my thought directly after watching the last episode
@@luiiiandmovieee I know me too I feel like I’m cursed or something that’s I’m extra optimistic about this it ranked top 3 on Netflix so they better know what’s good for them. Hehehe!!!
it's neil gaiman. did you really expect we don't get years of pining first??
@@Svantje good point
The show has beautiful storylines at its core that relate so heavily to the real world and carry a strong message on a multitude of topics.
Those cores are then surrounded by a blend of genres to create such a beautiful show entirely 🥹 all the crew did amazingly and the writers gave the cast such powerful and important stories to bring to life and the cast did so amazingly. AHHHH I COULD SCREAM FOR HOURS ABOUT DBD 😭🤍
