Bet it's cold today. I missed the expo this year. Thanks for the video. I've been watching several of the expo. Bob Bennie's Blue Ridge Honey Company is just down the road from me about 20 miles. Spent a lot of money there. I used to have a retail birding store in Clayton, Georgia and his wife was one of my customers.
@@beesintheweeds Yes, sorry I missed the expo. Went last year. It was closer. Probably go next year. It would likely help my TH-cam channel. Getting too old for working so many bees. Hope to cut back and enjoy them more.
Thanks this was great u walking and talking to the venders out standing. Thanks. I did not get to go But It was nice to see what was for sale there Have a blessed week
Thank you so much for sharing! We were not able to make it but are certainly going to make it a priority next year especially after seeing this video. Thanks again!
There was a lady at NAHBE that had plastic comb honey cassettes for 4 Individual combs where the lid folded back and then you put this in a medium frame, one cassette set on each side that slid Into the frame slots. Once the bees have filled them you take them out of the frames, fold the lid from the back over to cover the packages, and then spit the 4 pack into individual packs. Produced 8 packs per frame. Cannot be mixed with other frames. It is called Simplkomb. Bees in the woods also covered her demo on his video at 33:12 .
Yes. I’m disappointed the local the news didn’t pick it up but it’s also a very niche conference. Not a lot of us beeks out there. Regardless, they should announce it. With this being the first year here, I expect future events will get covered. Be sure to follow NAHBE FB page for updates.
Thanks for sharing! It was great to meet you there!
So awesome to meet you Fred!! And thanks for all the helpful tips!

You are so welcome! That’s one of the main reasons I took the video is to help those that couldn’t attend. Cheers!

Thanks for the reference but it’s Bees in the Weeds, not Bees in the Woods. 😊😊😊
I'm so sorry bees in the weeds. I was watching Fred and had to flip back through to your video to comment, and misread the title on the TV.
@@fredshoney6458Haha, no worries at all! Thanks for watching and happy beekeeping to ya!

I live close to the expo also. Any chance you can recommend or show me how and what to start with ?
Are you looking to get started in beekeeping?
Yes but on a small scale. My grandson wants to sit up one, thinking it will help the garden and benefit the environment.

Great to hear! I’m very excited to get it. 😊
Did you seen any bee venom extractors
