I resented that interpretation because intimacy and relationships have always been a problem for me. I felt it was a curse I couldn't overcome. I have spent a lot of time in my life feeling alone and abandoned (traumatic childhood). I'm the kind of guy that could have a date with either sex on Sat night but was all alone, and in all modesty I'm not ugly, and I have a great gregarious personality. I'm one of these people who is not as wired for relationships in this lifetime- I don't mean anything against anyone and appreciate the relationships that I have. But I have to say it's really hard and it feels alienating that most ppl don't understand. I just am wired to be solitary and only need a little bit of interaction.. I am constantly reading and learning and I don't get as much mental stimulation from conversations. I always try to be polite and kind and reciprocal but yeah I just can tell and other ppl can tell that relationships can feel like a big effort for me and not something that comes as naturally. But it's also part of my gift and reason for being here on earth- I'm an artist and a creative person and an intuitive and this lifetime is just about a calling that isn't as wired up with the normal 3d world. I feel grateful to have found a partner who was patient and persistent in getting to know me. :) But I just want to say it IS and has always been profoundly painful to try and interface with the world and feel so misunderstood.

God, I resonated with this so much. Although I am so thankful for my family and certain work relationships, the only ones that work are ones in which i don’t have to “maintain”. Work and making an impact is just more of a priority rn and if relationships align with that, great, but at least this point in my life, it’s a nice reminder and relief to not be putting personal/romantic relationships first.

Wonderful video, Molly..I appreciate your work so much. I’m glad you addressed the issue of friendships and relationships. Some people would probably call me relationally lazy, but I have a theory about friendships. In my experience, they come and go and of course change. Also, if you’ve been through any kind of abuse or CPTSD in childhood, you might be very codependent and a people pleaser and over giver. I was for most of my life and did massage therapy for close to 25 years. Then, have just had, the trauma of the last 5 years, all the gun violence, two family members with Alzheimer’s who we’ve taken care of at home, one died in May and another is on hospice now, so I’ve just not felt like I had the energy for friendships in the way most people think of them or even the way I once did when I was younger. I’m very empathic (Pisces moon) and really have to be kind of a loner because I’m sensitive to peoples energy and pain. I want to help, but it’s overwhelming. Anyway, you covered a lot of bases in your talk. I just thought I’d share my two cent’s Re: relationships. Thanks again for sharing your insights and wisdom through astrology. ❤

I'm definitely relationally uninterested, at least in the traditional way. I AM here to love but I have no need to express love with marriage or by having children. I remember telling my father, as a pre-teen "I am never having children!" I am always surprised that, whenever ppl are asked "Tell me about yourself," they usually talk about their children. I always want to ask, "but what about YOU?" I never do tho.

I’m listening at about 15 minutes in. I want to say how much I appreciate what you are saying about this perhaps not being a relationships lifetime for everyone, that we have different relationships to relationships so to speak 😁 I resonate with this a lot. Somewhere in my mid30s a addressed the desire to have children, acknowledging that it was unclear whether I would, perhaps I would never have my own children and making peace with that. I wanted to have a relationship first :-) I have had relationships, and never a Surprise pregnancy, nor a relationship serious enough long enough to “try to get pregnant”… I think I would like a relationship, although sometimes I have a hard time figuring out what exactly that would look like. When people are here I enjoy spending time together, and I’m still hopeful that partnership on a higher level (physical and spiritually aware) is in my cards so to speak. Also aware that I am creating it, and willing to be ready for partnership. Astrologically, my moon and northern node are both in the early degrees of Aries, and I think the 10th or 11th house. My Venus is at or just barely after midheaven in Aquarius, in I think the ninth house. As far as friendships are concerned, I noticed that I don’t “naturally“ nurture friendships, I really have to think about it. I can go weeks without connecting with someone perhaps. I have friends and lots of acquaintances, currently very few that I am in connection with or see on a regular basis, none that I see on a daily basis. Except for my two cats 🐱🥰😊. And some online contacts. And even there if it’s daily, it’s usually because they reach out on a daily basis. This does not mean that I am not interested, that I do not care, or that I don’t “need“ contact. I by and large enjoy and appreciate contact…💕✨
18° Taurus is my descendant, and Saturn - while I remain in my second Saturn return -- is sitting on top of my south node, opposite my north node! The questions you raise regarding this Saturn / Uranus square, are astoundingly accurate! As my past and my future collide, I am destiny-obsessed as to how to navigate forward in a way that aligns with my newly activated and refreshed purpose, leaving behind my old ways of doing things, wanting to choose a future that is more sustaining and not depleting to my 60yo self. I’m extremely fatigued, stymied, confused, over-thinking, spinning, stagnant, seeking, searching, reflecting. Meanwhile I am Scorpio rising, and Sagittarius moon, so eclipse seasons have already been rocking my world for a few years! Yet I’m so fortunate, grateful for the blessings in my life, having survived our southwest Florida hurricane, and doing all I can to move constant fears aside.

Wow! This is a big podcast, Molly! Thank you so much. Your reflections on Libra and relationships are so pertinent ! Thank you for highlighting the contrast between individual paths and the more rigid standards expected/demanded by society. This is a very important distinction to make! Your reflections on the Saturn/Uranus SQUARE are sooooo spot-on! I've been doing a lot of thinking about all this for a while now, but it's not until now that this SQUARE touches me personally (because of the 18th degree mark). My natal Moon is at 17:30 Leo (in the 4th). Trining my natal Sun at 16:40 Sag (in the 8th). But I also have my natal Saturn at 17 Cap (in the 9th). Opposing my natal Mars at 16:20 Cancer (in the 3rd). Transiting Saturn RETROGRADE does not quite go quite EXACT with these natal aspects, but it gets pretty close. Transiting Uranus RETROGRADE however will go back to 15 Taurus by 22 Jan next year and then FORWARD again, thus aspecting all these points in my chart again. MOREOVER the FULL MOON in ARIES on 09 Oct is also at 16 degrees (in my 12th) - SUN at 16 Libra (my 6th). Transiting Sun and Moon will be forming a GRAND CARDINAL CROSS with my Saturn (17 Cap) and my Mars (16:20 Cancer). Lillith is also at 19 Cancer - having just gone past my Mars and opposite my Saturn. Chiron is at 14 Aries, soon to T-square my Saturn/Mars opposition in due course. And Venus is at 13 Libra making the exact same Grand Cardinal Cross just a few days later. But the Uranus Saturn Square is also making a T-square with my natal Moon (at 17.30 Cancer), and the NODES have t-squared this same point not long ago. All in all forming another GRAND FIXED CROSS in my chart!... But it does not stop there: The NEW MOON (16 Ares) will be forming a GRAND FIRE TRINE with my Sun (at 16:40 Sag) and my Moon (at at 17:30 Leo. With the New Moon SUN (at 16 Libra) forming one apex of a KITE, while transiting Saturn at 18 Aqua (in my 10th) forms another, and transiting Mars at 22 Gemini, forming yet another (albeit loser) apex of a KITE - that's 3 KITES, around a STAR of DAVID (transiting SUN and transiting Saturn and transiting Mars forming a GRAND AIR TRINE, with 3 other KITES with apexes on the transiting Moon, as well as my natal SUN and MOON! With SEXTILES running all around them! It looks amazing! I hope it will be! I have a big decision to make next week, and it seems to be very relevant to your discussions on the SATURN / URANUS SQUARE. My natal Saturn is very strong (at home in Cap in the 9th) and has marked my life in a very clear way. It is also opposite my natal Mars (in severe detriment in Cancer...). My natal Uranus is at 25 Leo, opposite my natal Ceres at 25 Aqua and my natal Chiron at 28 Aqua (in my 10th). Transiting Saturn will oppose it soon as it moves towards the end degrees of Aqua soon (before entering Pisces). And transiting Uranus will square it much later, next year I think. I feel a strong pull to follow the URANIAN IMPULSE and 'do my own thing' , 'go my own way' - however 'crazy' it may appear to others! But my Strong SATURNIAN natural tendencies tend to HOLD me BACK with CAUTION (often excessive...). I really don't want to miss this opportunity though! (although it feels very very tight...)

I resonate with this a lot. Somewhere in my mid30s a addressed the desire to have children, acknowledging that it was unclear whether I would, perhaps I would never have my own children and making peace with that. I wanted to have a relationship first :-)
I have had relationships, and never a Surprise pregnancy, nor a relationship serious enough long enough to “try to get pregnant”… I think I would like a relationship, although sometimes I have a hard time figuring out what exactly that would look like. When people are here I enjoy spending time together, and I’m still hopeful that partnership on a higher level (physical and spiritually aware) is in my cards so to speak. Also aware that I am creating it, and willing to be ready for partnership. Astrologically, my moon and northern node are both in the early degrees of Aries, and I think the 10th or 11th house. My Venus is at or just barely after midheaven in Aquarius, in I think the ninth house.
As far as friendships are concerned, I noticed that I don’t “naturally“ nurture friendships, I really have to think about it. I can go weeks without connecting with someone perhaps. I have friends and lots of acquaintances, currently very few that I am in connection with or see on a regular basis, none that I see on a daily basis. Except for my two cats 🐱🥰😊. And some online contacts. And even there if it’s daily, it’s usually because they reach out on a daily basis. This does not mean that I am not interested, that I do not care, or that I don’t “need“ contact. I by and large enjoy and appreciate contact…💕✨
18° Taurus is my descendant, and Saturn - while I remain in my second Saturn return -- is sitting on top of my south node, opposite my north node! The questions you raise regarding this Saturn / Uranus square, are astoundingly accurate! As my past and my future collide, I am destiny-obsessed as to how to navigate forward in a way that aligns with my newly activated and refreshed purpose, leaving behind my old ways of doing things, wanting to choose a future that is more sustaining and not depleting to my 60yo self.

Your reflections on Libra and relationships are so pertinent ! Thank you for highlighting the contrast between individual paths and the more rigid standards expected/demanded by society. This is a very important distinction to make!
Your reflections on the Saturn/Uranus SQUARE are sooooo spot-on! I've been doing a lot of thinking about all this for a while now, but it's not until now that this SQUARE touches me personally (because of the 18th degree mark).
My natal Moon is at 17:30 Leo (in the 4th).
Trining my natal Sun at 16:40 Sag (in the 8th).
But I also have my natal Saturn at 17 Cap (in the 9th).
Opposing my natal Mars at 16:20 Cancer (in the 3rd).
Transiting Saturn RETROGRADE does not quite go quite EXACT with these natal aspects, but it gets pretty close.
Transiting Uranus RETROGRADE however will go back to 15 Taurus by 22 Jan next year and then FORWARD again, thus aspecting all these points in my chart again.
MOREOVER the FULL MOON in ARIES on 09 Oct is also at 16 degrees (in my 12th) - SUN at 16 Libra (my 6th).
Transiting Sun and Moon will be forming a GRAND CARDINAL CROSS with my Saturn (17 Cap) and my Mars (16:20 Cancer).
Lillith is also at 19 Cancer - having just gone past my Mars and opposite my Saturn.
Chiron is at 14 Aries, soon to T-square my Saturn/Mars opposition in due course.
And Venus is at 13 Libra making the exact same Grand Cardinal Cross just a few days later.
But the Uranus Saturn Square is also making a T-square with my natal Moon (at 17.30 Cancer), and the NODES have t-squared this same point not long ago. All in all forming another GRAND FIXED CROSS in my chart!...
But it does not stop there:
The NEW MOON (16 Ares) will be forming a GRAND FIRE TRINE with my Sun (at 16:40 Sag) and my Moon (at at 17:30 Leo.
With the New Moon SUN (at 16 Libra) forming one apex of a KITE, while transiting Saturn at 18 Aqua (in my 10th) forms another, and transiting Mars at 22 Gemini, forming yet another (albeit loser) apex of a KITE - that's 3 KITES, around a STAR of DAVID (transiting SUN and transiting Saturn and transiting Mars forming a GRAND AIR TRINE, with 3 other KITES with apexes on the transiting Moon, as well as my natal SUN and MOON! With SEXTILES running all around them!
It looks amazing!

I have a big decision to make next week, and it seems to be very relevant to your discussions on the SATURN / URANUS SQUARE. My natal Saturn is very strong (at home in Cap in the 9th) and has marked my life in a very clear way. It is also opposite my natal Mars (in severe detriment in Cancer...).
My natal Uranus is at 25 Leo, opposite my natal Ceres at 25 Aqua and my natal Chiron at 28 Aqua (in my 10th).
Transiting Saturn will oppose it soon as it moves towards the end degrees of Aqua soon (before entering Pisces).
And transiting Uranus will square it much later, next year I think.
I feel a strong pull to follow the URANIAN IMPULSE and 'do my own thing' , 'go my own way' - however 'crazy' it may appear to others!
But my Strong SATURNIAN natural tendencies tend to HOLD me BACK with CAUTION (often excessive...).
I really don't want to miss this opportunity though! (although it feels very very tight...)
