One of the other channels did a piece on this restaurant recently. I love the simplicity of their kitchen. No wasted space, efficient work, simple menu. These are my favorite kind of Chinese restaurants.
This is a Chinese cuisine restaurant located in Japan. The Chinese who settled in Japan during the late 19th Century introduced their style of cooking. This developed into "Chūka Ryori" (Japanese-style Chinese food), which is a hybrid cuisine of Chinese and Japanese cooking. Ramen, Yakisoba, Chahan (Fried Rice), and Gyoza are notable examples of this cuisine style.
Those traditional cloth curtains are called "Noren" (暖簾), which were initially devised to protect windows and doorways from wind and rain. Developed before modern signage, Noren were also used to display a shop's name or logo. They are hung in the front entrance of a shop to signify when an establishment is open, and taken down at the end of the business day.

私は他県の食にうるさい他県からの移住者ですが、本当は余り知られる事が嫌なのですが、こちらのまんぷく亭さんは私の中華家さんの中でも1番ですね☝️安くて旨いのでどのメニューを選んでも間違い無く美味しいので是非食べて頂きたいですね♪来店されたらまず焼飯まんぷくギュウザがおすすめですね♪
看到用的刀。就是中餐门徒。日本人是不用这种刀的。
