The thing is, videos like these inspire me to go and do the same for myself, and I just lose motivation when trying to recreate images lol. It’s especially hard to make real-life buildings into sim version coz the scale is always so off, and mine always end up looking like a terrible knock-off version, but you managed to actually make the whole build super inviting. Especially the bedroom- so cozy!

Oh yes the scale is always horrendous when trying to go off of floor plans and pictures. I usually go room by room when building like this so that I can properly size my spaces but still get the desired look
I LOVE this build, I like how the weird bathroom was tied in with the random apothecary room. These are some of my fav build challenges you do, aside from shell challenges obvs. So fun! Can't wait to see what you do next!

I genuinely love how you explain each aspect of building. I am a 'seasoned' builder myself, but I find it super useful and it doesn't come across as passive-aggressive or patronising.

I've stopped watching a lot of simmers because it feels like they're just making Sims content for the sake of making it (it's just their job now). But everything you do in the Sims is so creative and beautiful! It's really a pleasure to watch and brings the game to life. The stuff you do makes the game look better ?? How do you do it ?? Your eye for color and detail is just amazing. The game almost doesn't matter, you're just such a creative person who is great at making things look pretty ❤️❤️

I love the house and the rocks by the path, my fave room is the bedroom the stars and different sized lamps are so pretty. Such a great idea using pinterest for inspiration, I must try that when I lack ideas. What ever you create it always looks so good.

25:37 the "vents" from vampires is actually a radiator. my dad's house is old and there's one in every room except the bathroom that has smaller ones close to the floor and the laundry room and sun room

This build challenge/inspiration looks fantastic as always. I love how you said at the beginning that Pinterest shows you things based on your interests and then it showed you a pergola moment for the backyard. That is such a classic staple of the "Syd style", at least in my mind. I'm pretty sure you were the first Sims 4-based TH-camr I saw who used the in-game pergolas, and they looked great too. I've noticed a lot of people, including myself have been having dry throat/voice issues lately. It's obviously due to the changes in weather and humidity as we moved into Autumn, but I've also had to get a drink of water or tea more often. Luckily both Brita-filtered water and tea (warm or cold) are delicious, so I don't mind. Layering the two rug styles to make a new rug in the living room was brilliant. we never have enough rugs on the game. When I saw the dog in the kitchen photo, I thought you were going to add some dog stuff (like food bowls and maybe a dog bed) to the house, but I understand that it is more downloadable without the cats and dogs pack added in too. Haha! We all know you love a good doggo. People can add their own pet stuff after they download the build if they need it. Your suggestion that the owner has been divorced many times and has eclectic taste from collecting things from their partners makes me laugh so much. I adore the reality that the bedroom is in the faux garage as well. Something about being able to open the garage door and most of the wall would be gone highly entertains me. Maybe they live somewhere a little more secluded so they can open it up to get air and sunshine without showing the whole neighborhood the inside of their bedroom. Haha. When the witchcraft element came in at the end it all clicked for me. When you said love potions my age showed (I'm 32) because I thought of "Love Potion Number 9" before I thought of "Harry Potter", although I used to love that series too.
i wish syd did a bloxburg build challenge. Ik she’d still have to create an account in roblox and buy robux to actually HAVE bloxburg, but wouldn’t it be fun??
Build challenge idea- Using little dicas Katy Perry Sweet Treats cc pack, you need to build a house or something where each room or area of the building is based off of every cupcake in the Sims and you must use every object from the cc pack at least once. Hehe
the vampires ‘vent’ is a victorian cast-iron radiator! it was so confusing that they didn’t make it an actual functional heater imo, would have been way more clear if they did - and a way more useful item as well

Sometimes it’s better to make something ✨inspired✨ by something when replication just won’t do lol
