I'm glad he mentioned the "accent". Most movies and shows set in the hood, just seem to totally disregard the nuances in language. Being from LA, this is what kept me watching past the first episode. Then it was the acting, which is superb. This man did a brilliant job in his role.

I am so proud of him he can act his ass off. He was also in the new Billie Holiday film. I can see him being a A-list actor in the future especially if other directors pick him up and put him in more versatile projects.
I hope Manboy lasts AT LEAST 3 seasons but I don’t know, he’s low key supposed to be Franklins rival, so it’s not looking too good. Manboy is a top 5 character on Snowfall for me.
SPOILER at the end of season 3 he basically starts a gang war, I dont see him living for long because of that cant lie

Seems like they're trying to cram alot of storylines in the season, sometimes that can be a sign of a show cancelled because they gotta flesh out their story fast.. I hope that's not the case though, I hope they pull it off this season like they always do!

But there’s nothing with that southern twang in an LA accent because a lot of us come from a Southern background many of our grandparents come from the south so we have a little bit of that in our accent...not everyone though.
