Shooting started late due to a sudden car breakdown.
On a day like this, lions hunt and upset us.
Today, not a lioness, but a big brother, a male lion who went out on a morning patrol, did the hunt.
He ate enough, but there was still a lot of food left.
It is a heavy and long way to take leftover food with the family.
How would the big brother handle his prey?
20 years, well over 1200 days I have spent in the Serengeti. The Serengeti is my life. Your “subscribe” and “Like” will be bring comfort and strength for me and the lions and the cheetahs who have to endure the blazing sun in their thick fur coats without any air conditioning.
Beginning in 2014, the three years of filming brought “Panthera” official nominations from numerous documentary Film Festivals including the WCFF in New York. Here, I have sectioned and uploaded the screening of “Panthera” into short episodes of the Korean TV version: “Serengeti.”

사자의 포효는 8km까지 들린다는데, 큰형은 얼마나 멀리 정찰을 갔었던 걸까요? 큰형이 완전한 성체가 아니라 목소리가 작았던걸까 싶기도해요. 가족과 함께 나누고 싶었지만, 그러지 못한 큰형의 아쉬움과 배 쫄쫄 굶고 힘들어하는 암사자 무리에게 아무일도 없는듯 하는 큰형의 처세술을 봅니다.
