99% of all of these dramatic "reports" about the contract situation are basically just fan fiction at this point. And nobody knows what part is the 1% that maybe is accurate. Even the idea that the contract period was supposed to end in August is probably false. YG never said that the contracts end in August. The "reports" are always based on anonymous sources that have no credibility. All of the previous stuff over the past year has turned out to be false.
Maybe not for long I hope will disband for good

Kpop-related "news" channels have been getting weirder and weirder in the past 3 years or so. In the past, there were some really good channels made by people who used their own voices and faces and tried to be responsible with their content. Nowadays, it seems like 5 or 6 new Kpop "news" channels pop up everyday, like weeds. (I suspect many of them all belong to one person or one company somewhere, because their content and format are almost identical.) Many of them won't even allow comments from sane people. Only comments from people who believe the fan fiction are allowed, so they can often have thousands of views and only 10 comments. One example is the F Y I Kpop. Once in a while, they do a good story. But most of the time it's just pure garbage with a completely fake title.

So let me get this straight - according to all the channels like this one, all of the girls have both re-signed and not resigned, some have resigned but others haven't (mix and match to get the most clicks)? This is ridiculous. BTW, if Jisoo wanted security, she'd have security.
Don't forget that Lisa is also leaving YG to take an $80 million offer in China, but she's also leaving to take a deal in the USA. A few days ago, Jennie was the only one staying and the other three were leaving. Then Lisa was the only one leaving and the other three are staying. Now Rosie is the only one staying and the other three are leaving. Also the contract was supposed to end in August and YG was supposed to be in a big crisis. But August came and went with no problem. Then "according to a person connected to YG" the contract announcement was supposed to be announced at the final concert. But then it wasn't announced. Basically it's about 99.9999% ALL FAN FICTION being pushed out as "news". If the remaining 00.0001% is true and accurate...it's only by accident. YG has said nothing. None of the girls have said anything. For all we know, the contract period won't even end until next year or even later. YG NEVER said that the contracts would end in August.

The recent Korean media reports also admit that nothing is confirmed. Their source, if there really is one, is just making guesses about possible scenarios. The original Korean news article identified the source as "some people connected to the music business". That's all. So far, these kinds of reports have been wrong about almost everything for the past year.
