It is just fun now watching the players on this team improve about every game now. We had so many players in new roles this year and playing much more than ever before, along with the new guys on the roster. We are seeing vast improvement in Jax, Fears, Book, Jase, Holloman and even Fidler and Zapala as they get more confident in the system. The offensive improvement as they get used to playing together is making this team very fun to watch. The defense should also keep improving as they get used to each other and the schemes. Their ceiling was so high if they just played hard and gelled. Now we are starting to see how good they can become. Their confidence in themselves and each other just keeps growing. They made what I think is a very good Nebraska team look very lost on both ends today. No one seen that coming. I went into the game just hoping for a tough win as Nebraska came in playing very well. Hoiberg looked totally deflated after the game in his presser. He looked worried about how to get his team to recover from this total beat down. Izzo has to worry about over confidence now but he talked like he isn't worried about that happening.
Izzo made a point of saying in his presser after the game that they are going to get Carr's shot in shape for the rest of the season. It will be interesting to see how well that works, but Izzo sure sounded confident about it.
Sure we feel like he gets it there some day and maybe a little this year. Wouldn't be surprising to see him start taking 10-12 foot jumpers. He's starting to dial in the FT so maybe working his way out. Next year maybe the 3s?
Sure and so is Teng. But whose minutes do you take away to get him minutes? We've had him on the show twice and love the kid but realistically this is a 10 man rotation right now and there isn't room for him outside of injuries. If he sticks around he's more of a Junior/Senior contributor probably.
I wouldn't have Jax among that group teams would want to foul as he is now 20-25 80% on the season. Cooper is at 75%. In fact, out of our main 10 man rotation only Coop 75%, Zap 58.8% and Carr at 50% shoot under 80% on the season from the FT line.
Agree. The point we were making is that the guys you think would be safe to foul aren’t safe to foul right now. Even Coop - as you pointed out - is hitting 75%. Outside Carr (maybe this is changing?) and Zapala everyone is a plus FT shooter.
If we make shots we will be in the hunt for the Big 10 title and March will be exciting!! I love this team and we are young with tons of room to grow. Go GREEN

Does Jaxon kohler guard Danny Wolf against Michigan?
Probably. It’s gotta be a combo of Book and Jax. Because they’d both get swallowed up by Golden. Those matchups will be tough for sure.
Why isn't Norman playing more?He is on scholarship
