I'm so mad that I started rewatching episodes of the BFV recently, because seeing Traci in those episodes have made me so sad. I'm so sorry she's gone. She always got the crappy end of the stick. I'm just happy the world got to know and love her. She always wanted to sing and she fulfilled that before she passed which is great. I use to have this song on repeat in the car.

I like this song...the beat and the flow. She picked a song in her range that doesn't make her appear to be "reaching". I honestly don't think she is trying to be a "major" star in the game but this is a personal desire/goal that she wanted to attempt to do. It’s insane how when you listen to the overall meaning of this song that was Traci’s hit single and it’s basically saying to give/receive love and she’s over the hurt and pain(illness) and it’s her last call before it ultimately takes over which is symbolic of her passing. Traci is UNDERRATED!!!!!!! Music is on point, lyrics are really good and the voice is one of a kind. Vocalist with that Alto/Contralto voice are usually dismissed, but people need to wake up to Traci. Love her! She is the "round the way/good girlfriend" that would be there for you in any situation, but would also get you real straight when you mess up!

I like this song...the beat and the flow. She picked a song in her range that doesn't make her appear to be "reaching". I honestly don't think she is trying to be a "major" star in the game but this is a personal desire/goal that she wanted to attempt to do. If anything, it is inspiring and clearly says that although your dreams are deferred that you don't have to let them go. It's a nice song.

Did ya'll hear Traci sing in her lower register? She gets deep. I swear I only ever heard two other ladies dip low with a note like that: legendary singers Anita Baker and Toni Braxton. Those ladies had depth and range and could go as low as a man and still sound sexy.They don't make'm like that anymore. Nowadays everyone wants to sing outside their range and scream--or if they can even sing at all smh. Low range singers are extinct. People don't appreciate them anymore. It takes skills.

***** Wow, she's a very talented singer! I'm going to actually purchase her new album, which will be the first gospel album I'll buy in forever. She has a nice low tone; however, from the tracks I heard, she sings low but she didn't get "deep." 2:40 Traci took a dive. Now-- is she a better singer than Jessica?--oh, no--but when talking about who has a lower register, it's Traci. Now--Toni singing "unbreak my heart," I can't even drop like she can in that song; and I'm a guy. And Anita is who inspired Toni. They're voices are so distinctively unique. There's also a singer name Desire that has a beautiful lower register too, but her music isn't main stream. Thanks for reintroducing me to Jessica Reedy.
***** Yea that dude is much shorter than she is; she said it in her show "Braxton Family Values." But given the budget of her first major video, I guess they had rather take a cut in height than with production :). And I did listen to "God has Smile on Me." I like her rendition. I told my sister about Jessica Reedy--thinking I had discovered something new--she looked at me and said "you're late," and began mentioning several other songs I like. "You Made Something Out of Nothing" is my personal fave that I relate to. I gotta admit man, upon listening to more of her music, she does rank with the best of them with low sultry registers. Oh and about Jazmin Sullivan, She's a beast with her vocals. Her runs are effortless and she does it in her lower register as well; that's great technique! Hey check out her childhood performance in the Wizard of Oz. She didn't even belong on set with the other little kids lol. Btw, the artist Desire first sung the song "kissing you" that Beyoncé famously covered.
