It's a nice Toy for the family and getting it rented really helps with the cost.

Very nice rig! I'm definitely looking into purchasing a F53 chassis motorhome for fulltime use. Just weighing in the pros and cons for gas vs diesel. I'd like an either pre-2006 diesel or 2006 and later gas for the better 3v V10. Great tutorial btw

If I had the finances and the ability to do it over, I might have gone with a diesel. The driving experience I think would be better with having the noise of the motor at the rear of the coach. Also there is the towing ability. I have a RZR that I will not tow into the mountains because of the 5k tow limit. With my trailer and RZR, I approach that limit and going up some of the 7% inclines would not be fun. I don't enjoy hearing this V10 revving at 4k.

@@BearsWorkshop I'm sure. I know there's 5 star tuning that makes a tuner for the v10 along with headers and a more free flowing exhaust. But yeah, I wouldn't like having a motor really struggling going up passes

I have exact same rig. Never had a problem on any mountain incline even towing a Jeep Wrangler. Sweet spot is about 40-45mph on steep inclines. Use the Tow/Haul button on the shifter always. It engages engine braking which helps in town and going down mountains and improves shifting. Expect about 7mpg average. Keep water in toilets (1/3), and make sure to ALWAYS flush a full bowl to prevent problems with the VacuFlush system. I have some vids on my channel for more about this RV.

I think the ICC button is to start the engine using the house batteries, incase the engine battery fails.
