LOVE the new apartment! I love the easabilty of a water dispenser, so my apartment doesn't have one, I get the water delivery service from Costco or a local delivery service. If you drink a lot of water (I drink a gallon a day), it's so worth it vs refilling the pitcher.

Oh ya movers are great. The first time I used movers my parents liked them so much they got their personal #’s. used them to move furniture around when they renovated our fam home. And then used them when they sold and moved. And I’ve used them multiple times. So nice and we use them so often they feel part of the fam lol. Plus they don’t have to split their pay with a company. They helped me move into my first purchased home and we literally had a pizza and beer night after.
I’m this so so so worth it!
When we moved from our apartment we hired movers and it was the best decision ever! We never used movers before because being military if you go with their moving company a lot of times some stuff gets broken or missing. We hired an outside company

I know you mentioned putting your dinner table near the window. You might want to consider having it closer to your kitchen so that when you’re ready to eat, you don’t have to walk past your desk and sofa ti get to the table.
Thomas and I talked about that and we both didn’t mind, we want to eat and sit by the window it’s so nice, so we are just testing it out for now and can always change it if it’s too much💖

I think this might be a cultural difference, but I find it so strange that you're allowed to use your parents' home as excess storage several years after you've moved out.
Are you referring to the mattress? My mom is actually using my mattress and getting rid of hers
@@JennaHong I was referring to the mattress, but you've also stored clothes and things you don't want to keep in your apartment but you don't want to get rid of at your parents' house in past vlogs as well.
@@explicitlyme7497 I spend a weekend home at least once a month because of how close I am with my family and how close I live to home. I don’t think of using my house as excess storage, my parents house is their house and I treat it with respect. I’ve also had that conversation with my parents that guests are more than welcome to stay in my childhood bedroom and I have empty drawers and closet space and I leave free samples in my bathroom. I’m not sure if that’s a cultural difference or not but if it’s strange to you, to each their own. :)
@@explicitlyme7497 I’d also mention that renting is different than buying because of the limited space with apartments, and when I buy a house one day and I have more space I can fully “move out” of my parents house. Honestly, I personally am very grateful to still feel like I have a home and a sense of belonging in my childhood house, living close to home even in my mid 20’s ❤
