I try to explain this(the mystery), to my family and you'd think I was talking about aliens landing.

It 12 years before my mom finally came around, and she read her Bible for an hour a day since the early 70's.

I don't understand how that helped them see the fellowship of the mystery. Not a negative comment, I just want to understand.

It's because you genuinely have to be insane and/or brainwashed to believe this gobshite

@@martybeazley3306 He may be talking about convincing them to see that Jesus is God. The churches I grew up in always talked about Him being the Son of God, but never really emphasized Him being the fullness of the Godhead bodily; the express image of His person, Creator of all things.

I get a little confused about Jesus came to establish His kingdom. But then He says my kingdom is not of this world.

I hope this message is saying that it's very close.... some might even use the word imminent. Some might also believe that everything going on right now _are not_ the berthing pangs.. they've already passed. The final G vs. MaG world war, aka: 3, is on the tips of our tongues daily, it unofficially began, and all the prophecies have been fulfilled for his return. The gospel has been spread to all corners...happy warriors ventured to the various cannibal groups and brought the Bible, too. They fulfilled such a critical part of that order, too. They paid the _ultimate_ price very few ever would in order to make this verse come alive. Some people don't have veils over their eyes, placed there by God (look it up), in order to make seeking him out more difficult. This is the lukewarm church.. the final age and stage of Christianity, marked by idolatry, hedonism & indifference to God. Those churchgoers will tell you I'm incorrect. I'm not.

Jesus taught it was imminent of his return . But didn't happen..he even told the high priest he would see him , and even revelation says the same thing ...
How ? They died 2k years ago ...? It doesn't jell to be honest

Justin, a great teaching, as usual, although I have a theory for why Jesus remained silent. He remained silent, because he was bearing our sin and in a sense He was guilty.

Compare it to how quickly we would proclaim our innocence. Amazing thought brother.

But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (Mar 13:32 NABO)
David, his Father (Luk 1:32 NABO)
Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. (Joh 5:23 NABO)
I am the root and offspring of David, the bright Morning Star. (Rev 22:16 NABO)
You belong to your Father the devil (Joh 8:44 NABO)
How have you fallen from the heavens, O Morning Star, son of the dawn! (Isa 14:12 NABO)
In his name this man stands before you healed. He is 'the stone rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.' (Act 4:10-11 NABO)
    -------------------------------
My kingdom does not belong to this world. (Joh 18:36 NABO)
Where I am going you cannot come. (Joh 8:21 NABO)
the one who ascended far above all the heavens themselves (Eph 4:10 NABO)

Asking about his coming is less “When are you coming back?” and more like “When are you coming into your kingship?” As in establishing the kingdom like they are constantly asking him. When? When? Is it now? Are we there yet?

But Jesus never came . Jesus was clear it was imminent..not some two thousand years in the future . He even told the high priest he would see him. But how ? He's been dead for 2,000 years old ???
