- Joe Strummer, my favourite front man of all time, with a song I can remember chanting at the top of my voice at the Glasgow Apollo! 'When will we see your like again'
- เพลง
Goddamn, we could really use your voice today, Joe. Miss you.
Too true. Just shows how his words have not lost their relevance all these years later.

J.B. Beverley He isn’t truly gone ever. I feel deeply connected to joe himself. I feel his presences and joe’s spirit is around me and there. I really freaking truly madly deeply love him so much. Words just freaking describe ever what joe really means to me.

I looked tonight for Joe and felt clear he lives in the people.
The Clash was the soundtrack to my youth. RIP Joe.
Many of us have lived this song. Only Joe Strummer could put it all into words and music worth remembering.
I’ll never forget the shock & disbelief I felt when I heard Joe had passed on... although I never knew him, it felt like a very close friend or much loved family member had died.
The Clash were everything to me when I was kid..I cried when Joe died
Thanks for the video.
Met the man 3 times, he was the nicest, most down to earth dude ever. R.I.P., Joe.
danielscissorhands thts a fact
danielscissorhands that's an honor
Met with Joe and The Clash backstage in 82 and also in 99 with The Mescalaros, honesty one of the nicest guy I've ever met, not one bit of " Rock Star" arrogance,he went out of his way to talk sincerely with all his fans,r.i.p Joe....
danielscissorhands Yeah well He isn’t truly gone ever
Eddie Coyle joe is the real deal not just some rockstar
Oh shit, this vid got recommended and reminded me that I was somewhere in the crowd for this!
punkrock warlord.............. strummer the legend :)
War lord being two words, I think.
I was 17 when Joe passed away. This song has always struck a chord with me and if anyone asks, it's my favorite song. The vibe and political tone fit what I represent. It's not a flashy favorite song of all time but it hits all the notes and well it gets people to listen to the Clash.
RIP Joe. Much needed and missed. His music and lyrics inspired generation and shall continue to do so.
Saw The Clash in Purley, Surrey in December 1978....& I was only just 14. And again in 1981 when I was a little bit taller. Scary times but I'm so glad I went.....they were brilliant. 👌
Thank you Joe....
This guy was the Elvis of my generation.
Biblical ,right on the barrier on my mates shoulders , sang every word with him , amazing gig nearly all classic Clash songs , i was so happy if I died then I'd be happy😂😂😂
I still loved this great rockn roller.
miss you JOE

Miss him sooooo much !
Absolute legend 👏
The clash, joe, you and the band gived me a reason to learn music 30 years ago.
So fortunate to have been there. And I remember at the time one reviewer described Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros more fun than any Clash reunion. RIP, Joe.
Thanks Jim. Since 1977.... Joe is my Hero.
A true hero
A man ahead of his time God Bless Joe Strummer ...🏴☠️Legend
Joe's music has been in my life since I was 10 years old when I heard Tommy Gun. Im 50 now and have him to thank for turning me onto reggae, dub, ska 50s and 60's psyche and rockabilly, hip hop from a young age. I listen to allsorts but there's always room for Joe and The Clash. R.I.P.
freakn awesome love it
Long life to the memory of Joe Strummer and The Clash
Joe was awesome, & one of a kind as a frontman! I saw the Clash at the at the Hammersmith Palais in 1979 or 1980, & they were excellent!
No video will ever convey just how good they were, Joe in particular. They created an atmosphere that doesn't come across on here. Sorely missed indeed!
Saw the Clash on Broadway at Bonds. Twice
So missed, voice of my generation, open minded, open hearted. Can never be replaced
Greatest song ever written.
Magic
The best of British .
Saw him just b4 he passed in a small casino room at that !!!
I love this man so much ♥ missed terribly
An actual guy that was angry about his lot,Squatter in the late 70's,when times were genuinely difficult.also said, after the single release of The Clash,'This Is England' When England fans rioted abroad,It filled him with pride
i highly doubt that
@@RYx222 100% fact

The great man performing this classic song long before Glastonbury became a no go area for working class music lovers...
Sleeping you must be a toff?
A moral giant who knew a thing or two about writing fine songs. I can't think of a higher recommendation.
Miss Joe Squillions..bought him and Simeon a couple of drinks in Newcastle before a Uni gig and our friendship began. They were skint..but Joe never forgot and l got a drink back off him in Derby.

Clashは私の青春時代の一部です。
I was there. If I remember correctly, he played Rock the Casbah and everyone went nuts. Also at one point, he attacked one of the TV cameras I think with one his guitar.
Grand.
I was there, to far left... wedged in front of the screen!
Far left is exactly where you want to be 👍
Grande sempre nel cuore
