Got bored and did the math gipsy danger has a confirmed weight by the author of pacific rim of 1,980 tons, the Chinook was used in the offical pacific rim movie and there where 4 of them the problem lies with the fact that a Chinook can only lift up to 24,000lb with 4 Chinooks that's 96,000lb of lifting capacity, after the math using Chinooks you would need 200 Chinooks to provide the nessacery lifting power let alone all the structural problems, nothing to do with the episode just got side tracked after clicking on it and I thought I would share.
