David is such a fantastic presenter. He is so good, you dont realize that he is not even looking at notes. And his lectures always so full of energy. You can tell that alot of preparation went into all his lectures. He makes it look so easy.
He's inspirational, I see why student from Harvard are more valuable 👍, we don't learn this way in a community colleges 🤣, plz upload or of his courses, thanks to Harvard for making this an open course
Actually, I doubt even evreyone teaching at Harvard are in the same level. I have heard bad stories about professoers barely caring about teaching as they mainly focus on their personal research and view students as a burden. There should be some way to distinct between people fit to teach like David, and others who are just Academics. So unfair to allow both to do the same thing.
In my experience, a true testament of one's competence in a subject area of knowledge or engagement is in their ability to FLUIDLY, CREATIVELY & PASSIONATELY present their stuff without needing much of/barely needing a helping note to read off from while presenting. Much respect David. Fantastic info-dense, trans-time relevant piece of presentation on this topic. You handled and communicated the complexities and intricacies of this broad topic with precision and simplicity of word choices, relevant examples and expressions at its most kindergarten level for immediate comprehension. Again, a wonderful presentation and crystal-clear delivery of concept, speech and easily relatable ideas. The last few 2-5 minutes on the issue of TRUST (on a personal level, not neglecting the "enemy within") ultimately was the seal of a great summary for me. An awesome hour-long-plus session's watch - on TH-cam! 😉 Thanks David. 🌟
Its Amazing to watch this tutorials and learn from the experts. Thanks #Harvard University and Professor. #David J. Malan for this Wonderful information on Computer Science. You are Amazing, You have Incredible Knowledge and a wonderful person. Thanks for this in depth information on Computer Science.
lol i have that exact RSA device on my keychain used for TFA. In addition to using username and password, I also have a pin that I use in conjunction with the RSA Secure ID that changes every single minute. Login: Username, Password, Pin + Generated ID. Pretty damn secure.
Literally the opening scene of Mr Robot has Eliot sitting in a coffee shop. Does Mr Malan have his own version of Mr Robot? Or is Mr Malan one of the personas of Eliot Alderson? Jokes aside. I spent the Easter 4 day long weekend binge watching Mr Robot. Fabulous show. I only found out about Mr Robot like 2 months ago and planned my long weekend to fully enjoy it. Enjoying your lectures and thank you for not making them boring or stuffy. Learning lots. But I am just a beginner and we all have to start somewhere. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn even if we cannot be physically in Harvard. Greetings from Down Under. Thank you for allowing me access to this journey.
The Operative System "cheat sheet" David referes to. Is it accesible through any means? If it is, I guess one should be able to see all the files and the representation they have there, that would be interesting
My password is like, my favorite sport + underscore + last 2 digits of the website name + underscore +my birthday + my name it is about 14 characters, easy to remember, usable on every new website and good luck guessing that.
