Would you remove the CDI box permanently? Or put it back just bypass the cable to ground like you showed?

just the one one the cdi box side and the one on the wire harness side of the starter solinoid

My oil light stays on constantly and will not go off....It happened after I replaced a few parts...I replaced the 2 cdi boxes, coil wire, solenoid, and the rectifier....now the oil light stays on constantly, I replaced the sensor and it didn't help any....does anybody have a clue what my problem is....????

i dropped a hot peice of metal that i was hanging up to cool off in front of the fan and it brushed my hand and did that

Seems like a pointless mod. What advantage would you have to starting in gear. It’s easy enough to just drop it down to neutral.

Mainly for folks who have installed a reduction and have to do this although if for some reason the bike were to die in a very thick mud hole. It can be difficult to get it back into nuetral depending how thick and how much pressure is on everything.

My bike won't start as if the bike isnt in N.
So there's that. Why would you not want to start it in any gear?? You are limited in so many ways.
