    I’ve been wearing 13x6 for 3 years, love the look but hate the maintenance. My first ever was 5x5 and I loved it. Definitely going back to 5x5

      Try 7 by 7, its both low maintenance and giving frontal look

    "Are you going to use all that lace space?" is the PERFECT question to determining the size of the lace one wants. Wow. Subbed!

      @sherry Price it’s not the wig that matters. It’s the way you curl it. You’re the curling the ends out, instead of tucking them in. Then give your head a shake back and forth and you get volume! “Tah-Dah!”

    Girl thank you for this!!! I’m trying to explore the world of weave for my birthday in September and I have been going through a crash course to figure this stuff out. I go to the gym often so I was thinking of either a glueless wig or a closure sew in… regardless, I know I’ll get a 4x4 😭

    • @AllThingsBliss
      @AllThingsBliss  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      And you’ll still be GORGEOUS!! Go for a 5x5 if you’re feeling frisky. It’s only a little bit more. 🥰🎉 hope you had a great birthday!

    First off the sound effect was hilarious 😂. Secondly thank you so much for articulating the difference and meaning of the sizes. I saw other videos and was still clueless 😂 I’m new to wigs and purchasing one, but I didn’t understand what to buy.

  • @onikapinkk

    For me personally what im thinking about the 5x5 lace is that what if you wanna put the hair behind your ears? like what if its windy for example.. does the track show on the sides? thats why im thinking i should get a frontal . its just looks more natural. but its also uncomfortable cause of the glue. 😩 ugh idk

    • @LovelyKelly645
      @LovelyKelly645 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have the same question

    • @brendealovell
      @brendealovell 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’m just as new as you girl but I just ordered a 5x5 hd lace closure, but honestly in a sew-in, I would presume the bundles would conceal the tracks regardless. Because the hair is being sewed into layers you know? I don’t think it would necessarily be obvious unless you are actually trying to make a distinct part outside the top netting of the closure

    • @AllThingsBliss
      @AllThingsBliss  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Such a great question. Remember. This is for people new to wearing wigs. If the upkeep for a frontal is easy for you, or if your stylist knows how to keep it laid for weeks, choose a frontal!! It can honestly depend on how the wig is structured, some wefts are sewn around the edges so even if it blows, no tracks show!

    • @AllThingsBliss
      @AllThingsBliss  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly. It’s all about the install or the construction of the wig. Everyone has their own way, some better than others!

    Great video! I’m a latin girl with natural wavy hair that’s gorgeous when I leave the house but as soon as the humidity hits it it’s a horrible frizzy mess. Of course I’ve always wanted the Cher look! I’m able to get her look but only when I have it professionally straightened which is so damaging. I want to get a bone straight wig for high humidity climates. Last vacay in Belize my friends would say wow your hair looks great! After an hr, they started calling me Rick James. 😢

    • @AllThingsBliss
      @AllThingsBliss  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When in doubt it’s better to get more lace and cut it, than get a smaller closure and end up shrinking the cap and losing space. Then it won’t fit the same.

    • @AllThingsBliss
      @AllThingsBliss  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes and no. You can get the frontal effect on the hairline or even shift the wig to the side to get deeper parts, 5x5 still gives you room to make cute braids. But at the end of the day the 13x4/13x6’s still have much more lace to play with.

    What about “big head friendly” wigs . Cause I have to get wigs custom made for my head . How would you know if the wig already big head friendly is basically my question .

    • @AllThingsBliss
      @AllThingsBliss  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can’t tell by looking. You have to measure your head circumference. Different vendors use different materials and methods to make the wigs. So some can be stretchier than others. HOWEVER. your hair company should have a average head size indicated for each size. Xs=20” S=21” M=22” L=23” etc… that way you can ask what circumference their caps are and you’ll know if you can fit it. DISCLAIMER! that’s just the circumference. Your head also may be longer, or rounded than average so the sizes are just a guideline.

    I lost my hair as per chemotherapy. I'm getting ready to get married. I think the 13x4 is the best option for me...now I know why it's so much more expensive than the 4x4..or 5x5...

      Yes. But remember you have other cost effective options. Especially for beginners. You can never go wrong with a 5x5!

    How long do the wigs last if they aren’t for longevity?

      It depends on the type of hair, how you take care of it, and your lifestyle. My wigs have an average of 2 years. But can last longer with great care!

    Do you make custom made wigs? I'm new to them & need one to cover my whole head so I need a 13×6 to cover my whole head? I want it colored with 2 colors & know what I want but I don't want to put all those chemicals in my real hair. I'm also gonna go to your website now. Thx for any of your help!

      If you’re going for a deeper middle part sure. But you don’t get as much room across the front of the head.
