It's because the authentic one is meant for games so it almost forces you to sweat and I like the embroidery on the badges to the stickers that could peel off.
Great video Josh. Honest, informative & a straightforward review/comparison of both tops. Good of you to outlay nearly £200 to try saving the rest of us a few quid.
£30 extra for a fancy badge & a garment that could come a cropper in the laundry isnt worth it.
Id actually like that "retrostyle" top the rapper lad was wearing, apparently available in December time.
Its got the black Adidas trim on the sleeves, old collar, little bits of sky blue, 3 nice broad vertical black stripes & has that all important Adidas 70s "trefoil" leaf logo. I also love that it has no club shirt sponsorship on the front...
Definitely having that for Christmas.

Hey! Great comparison video, and great camera work from your dad. It's interesting to see the two shirts side by side. Until 13 minutes ago, I was buying the 'pro' version, but now ... I think I'm going for the replica. I liked the back of the neck on the pro, and also the holey material, too. But I don't know, I think the front of the collar looks kinda tacky(?) too.

Already got a plain authentic shirt, love the quality, so I’ve just ordered another with Joelinton 7 & PL patch on it £132. Worth every penny. We’ve only just got Adidas but what a massive jump in quality and availability already. Can’t wait for the away and 3rd shirts to come out for sale.👍👍👍

you forgot to mention the sleaves on the pro shirt are continuous and the replica is in to parts it has a clear stitched line under the 3 stripes personally i think they are both good shirts and you cant go wrong i opted for the pro version as i found it to be the much nicer shirt but that's just my honest opinion 👍
I prefer embroidered logo's. The problem with stuck on log's is that they will fall off after washes if you are not careful.

I’m pro shirts all the way they just look and feel so much better in my opinion… got the Castore Pro and still love that! England Pro away is also really nice but £125 for that! The prices are ridiculous tbh.

Has anyone noticed the sizing on the replica to be smaller. Tried a large and thinking I need to size up. Josh did talk about the upsizing just wanted others thoughts.
I'm torn. I prefer slim fit, shorter length and badge on the pro, but I do prefer the sewn on three stripes on the arms of the replica shirt. The club crest is jarring on the replica though. It looks more like a patch.

I think I'd go with the replica because that's £30 I can spend on something else, and I think you're right to point out that if you've paid £110 for the pro version and for example you spill your kebab on it, you're going to be £30 more peeved with yourself 😂

Does the pro shirt seem more prone to being worn off after multiple washes, compared to the replica? I won’t be able not to notice the collar now that you’ve mentioned it, though😅

Josh, don't mean to point you out but on one of the bottom corners of the kit it says Heat.rdy and you read it as Heat dry. Is it still the same thing you said?
Yeah I realised that when I re-watched it back Daniel, my bad mate. I don’t actually know what it means but you’re correct it does say Heat Dry!

On the pro shirt the white stripe on the body of the shirt is misaligned with the white stripe on the collar of the shirt and it really bothers me! And for £110!!! If Castore did this there would be an uproar…I don’t know how adidas got away with this one.

Thing is that occurred to me, if you were going to spend 100m and unlock that release clause, why wait until the end of June? For what reason? FFP doesn’t reset until July. It’s why clubs usually don’t unleash that sort of money until late in the window, there’s so many variables to that kind of spend so early. So I think you’re right.

@@Geordiejosh_ have a look at your shirt though Josh the noon is not in line with the three stripes it would look much better centralised it’s off centre as they have lined it up with the first stripe and the end goes past the third stripe I used to work at Nike in Washington years and years ago making sportswear and I think the alignment is shocking on this shirt
