One thing you can say about this man, his teammates NEVER vocalized a problem with this guy in their locker room/clubhouse. Never. Deion speaks the truth in that he was a team guy (look up Sean Casey testimony to what a teammate his was)
Deion/Prime's letter to his younger self is a thing of beauty. If you haven't read it yet, go do it right now. Looking forward to watching the 30 for 30 episode!
The media blew up that Sanders story about "no training prior to NFL combine". This dude is naturally GOD athletically gifted however he trained as hard as anyone to get where he is at. I'm on old fart. Outside of BO JACKSON, Deion is the most impressive ATHLETE I've ever seen in my life.
I hated Primetime when he played simply because I don’t like showboating. But since then he has grown on me to where I genuinely enjoy his take on most things. Now I find him to be a positive voice just telling it how it is. He truly lives up to the Primetime name making any show better simply by being there.
It was an ATL tv station (WSB TV) helicopter that started it man! Cmon every Atlantan knows that. Took you from Falcons football practice in Suwanee to Fulton County to help the Braves chase the NL Pennant!!!! ;)
Dam..Prime is a pimp...that is one cool brotha...and dude is about as "real" as it gets...this interview put a smile on my face...him & Rich.."C'mon man ..we're ebony & ivory"..lol..that was a great line..
He was a mediocre baseball player. Journeyman at best. Poor arm and below average hitter. The one who was a much better two sport star was Brian Jordan. All pro safety and an almost a hall of fame baseball player. There is no comparison.
Agree that Brian Jordan is underrated as a two-sport athlete. Disagree with the other two assessments: Jordan was not an All-Pro DB,, although he certainly could have been one had he stayed in the League. And he wasn't anywhere close to being a Hall of Fame baseball player. Definitely a good, solid ballplayer with a couple of All-Star-caliber seasons to his credit, but "almost a Hall of Fame baseball player" is a stretch for Jordan.
Yeah, far better... and arguably the best actual baseball career of any of the NFL-MLB duo-sport guys throughout history (Christy Mathewson predated the current version of the NFL.) Bo Jackson's career ended prematurely, while neither George Halas nor Jim Thorpe had substantial MLB careers.

Except Jerry Rice
Deion is the man

PRIMETIME
I loved the guy until he dumped the bucket of ice.
Alot of people believe the guy deserved it after the way he verbally attacked Deion.

@@6thwilbury2331 you are right but a far better baseball player than Sanders

@@6thwilbury2331 the guy who could have been great was kenny lofton baseball and basketball
Or Tony Gwynn, for that matter.
Aaron Donald totally overrated. No sacks in the playoffs yet. Eagles handled him well back on week 14.
HE IS A GREAT PLAYER MY FRIEND BUT WE GONNA SEE WHAT HE REALLY IS ABOUT IN THE BOWL?
Idk if he's overrated, he's great. Real great....he just isnt LT great...anything lower than that he is worthy
He did open things up for suh?
