Its to do with recording - if the saxes were at the front (where they normally would sit) the brass would bleed into their microphones like crazy. By having the saxes at the back...much of that bleed is avoided. That's my basic understanding at least :)
The best musicians in Hollywood. I love it.
Wonderful piece and wonderful playing, loved it.
I adore this piece - it makes me feel so warm inside. Beautiful muscianship all round!
+Nikki Reichelt Thanks!
Great composition and arrangement Myles. Production (video and audio) is first class. Congratulations!
+Joshua Lindsay Thank you Gary! Hope all is well
Amazing piece, Mr. Wright. Wonderful.
bloody marvelous
Absolutely brilliant. Love it, and have shared it with a few friends and I'm going to show it to my band director. Keep up the great work!
+Callum M Thanks so much!
Nicely done......old school......somehow I couldn’t help but start wondering which movie soundtrack from the ~70s timeframe this is from(?) 😊
No idea! But I'll take it as a compliment :)
@@MylesWrightMusic try listening with eyes closed; somehow brings a series of detective movie scenes to mind. 😊
Great sounding group. Why are thr saxes in the back?
So the loud ass brass doesn’t bleed into their mics.
