To represent the anti-immigration position you selected low class and unknowledgeable people on the street.
To represent the pro-immigration position you interviewed experts and individuals with emotional personal stories.
Why not speak to a spokesman from Sustainable Population Australia to find out how mass immigration is destroying Australia’s ecology, a writer at MacroBusiness to learn how mass immigration is economically detrimental, or Harry Richardson from the British Australian Community to investigate how Australia’s social cohesion and culture are being effected by changing demographics.

    • @havik3008
      @havik3008 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Sustainable Australia are a bunch of cowards on this issue. They won't address social cohesion and just fall back on this '70,000 a year's position because they're terrified of being called a racist.
Immigration moratorium is the only solution followed by remigration. Anything else and the country is lost

Alfred Deakin (2nd prime minister of Australia)
"There have been determinations which hereafter may have important consequences arising out of our administration, as well as other measures which will be submitted to Parliament, all having in view the accomplishment of the same end. That end, put in plain and equivocal terms, as the House and the country are entitled to have it put, means the prohibition of all alien coloured immigration, and more, it means at the earliest time, by reasonable and just means, the deportation or reduction of the number of aliens now in our midst. The two things go hand in hand, and are the necessary complement of a single policy - the policy of securing a “White Australia.” "

What people aren't seeing is that these elites and NGOs are just using the narrative of "white man bad" and racism simply as a tool to drive behaviors such as immigration and egregious crimes. They create a problem where none existed, then convince useful idiots to take action against a perceived "unfairness" to drive economic disparity, because crippling people economically is the best way to control populations. That's the game at a 30k foot view

You would simply perish if you had to LIVE in (not just visit) the Middle East or India, or colonial era Australia.
You would be shocked, appalled, offended and frustrated at the way of life: sexist double standards on women, lack of opportunity, lack of social mobility, open and rampant corruption, political violence, lack of justice and civil protection
...because you have modern western values, these values are widespread in Australia because that is our CULTURE. A culture that has often evolved ahead of even the Commonwealth or other OECD countries.
"Culture" is as much about fairness, decency, the rule of law, environmentalism, architecture, slang and the justness of the business environment.... as it is about food or dancing.
Had Australia not developed our own culture there would be no transition or learning process for new immigrants from Britain or Ireland (on account of Australia being founded by anglo-celtic stock). Go on Tik Tok, thousands of videos about how these immigrants felt like ducks out of water for the first few years and HOW DIFFERENT they find it to back home, the trend is called "things that would send British people back home into a coma".
Your view of "culture" has clearly been narrowed to consider only things you consider "ethnic" or "foreign" (i.e food, dancing). But that is extremely narrow definition of culture.
There are countries which have better mineral prospects and better farming conditions than Australia, and yet they are not even first world nations (countries in South America for example). Our culture informed how we crafted and utilised our circumstance on this land, to create one of the most enviable nations on earth - hence the high immigration numbers.

This idea that migrants are beneficial for the country because they contribute to GDP is just a farce, they might nominally for things like basic retail and energy consumption for the bare essentials, but those who are "working" for the most part send the money they make back home to their families that is the precise reason why they are here in the first place. These people think they are going to get rich by coming to western countries like Australia. The outbound remittances data correlates almost exactly with the graph of inbound migration when you overlay the two. We are accepting migrants here in the US and there in Australian, handing them either taxpayers money or they're taking the jobs from the locals and driving down wages in the process and our countries get no benefit for it because they just take our money and send it offshore back to their countries they came from. The same thing is happening in every western country, it's nothing but a huge orchestrated wealth transfer and the start of turning us into nothing but economic zones

Showing the people who are against the mass invasion of their own nation as being "silly" as you specifically showed that with your own choice of music while showing the "migrants" in a sympathetic light with this more sympathetic choice of music. Also, you never actually spoke to any anti-immigration/invasion leaders even though 74% of the Australian population are opposing it and finding a leader would be far easier. The video itself is the biggest appeal to emotion I've seen. No logical reason or point given for this large amount of people here simply sad music and sad sob stories. Like no one has totally had a hard life before. This shows the narcissism and self-centered beliefs these migrants have. These migrants kinda made a good point to not allow more of them in as they made it all about themselves with no regard to anyone else. I can go on and on about this video, but you should debate or even quickly interview Joel Davis on this issue if you actually wanna have fair representation also that would be a good content as well. Some good points in here but I think you missed the underlying issue that many Australian (by Citizenship or foreigners who already hold a visa) are facing. Although there are “so many jobs created” in Australia at the moment, these jobs in reality are not really for Australians citizens. Many employers are looking to bring Skilled Migrants Workers (who no doubt) have the skills to carry out the work, however they do come at a cheaper cost… it’s cheaper for an employer to hire someone from overseas who doesn’t know the market rates in Australia for a particular job… they will (the employer) won’t fully exploit that worker by significantly under paying them, rather their total remuneration is based on fair market value but their take home pay is less. The employer will offset the cost of the visa and relocation costs against the Skilled Migrants Worker’s salary - which benefits the employer at tax time. However, if you were to hire an on-shore worker (whether that be an Australian or someone that already holds a visa), the employer will have to pay them their full package based on market rate.
So many on-shore workers are finding it significantly hard to find a job, the market rate for many (corporate jobs) have also declined and on top of this the cost of living is out of control.
At the end of the day, the local councils/governments aren’t responsible for this. The federal government has allowed for this to happen. It’s a great thing that we have skilled migrant workers come to this country, it makes our country culturally rich! But poor federal policies have trickled into many aspects of Australian life, corrupted the economy and simply let down Australians.
This is why everyone is talking about a “Migrant Problem”. It’s not actually the migrants who are the problem, Australians (for the most part) are not racist and we love migrants and have always welcomed them. But you cannot deny that system has failed Australians.

Anti migrantion is not ok. Most migrants are very hard working. But they’re unfortunately not helped in learning a trade that could help our communities. We NEED manufacturing in Australia. Its vital. We are relying on China for goods, and thats NOT good.
Learning a good trade like electrician, plumber, carpenter, fitter n turner, welding, heavy plant etc etc should be incentivised and encouraged. All of them are NEEDED and they’ll make good money when they finish. BUT the same incentives need to be given to all Australians, not just migrants. We don’t need uber drivers. We don’t need doordashers. We NEED manufacturers. *edit* Also, if you’re convicted of any crime, you need to be deported immediately, no coming back.

The probelam is that the system is being scammed bkos the skilled workers being recruited are leaving there jobs and starting new jobs which doesn't have a shortage of skilled workers eg someone comes.here to work as a nurse and they leave that job and start driving trucks, they need to tighten the regulations not to allow this to happen.

I think it's a mix of both, some blame all on migrants, whilst on the other hand not all migrants are struggling as bad as citizens.

If the migrants come and so many of them wrongfully claim the support payments, it is those organizations' fault who are paying them without scrutinizing. The systems should be fortified and less and less non-deserving people should be given help.
I am a migrant myself and have been living in Sydney for almost 6 years now. Not even once have I gone to Centrelink seeking for any kind of monetary help. Even when I was jobless for a short period of time, I was totally relying on my savings.

We need to help the Australians already here first. Other countries need to help themselves as well. We need more housing, people willing to do jobs so companies aren’t relying on migrants and the government actually truely supporting Australian citizens.

My parents came here as migrants but we're full now. I understand people are refugees but there are so many other countries (muslim)at that, nearby where they can flee, why come ALL they way to Australia? We're a huge country but small coz most of its unhabitable.

My issue is if the govt wants to bring in migrants-make sure you build enough house and govt facilities AND infrastructure FIRST so it doesnt jack up the price of everything.
