There are many more interviews that EXO members basically said the same thing, Kyungsoo was the member who changed the most after debut, he became more reserved, quiet and shy. He would go months without speaking much or even smiling, making his members worried. Even Lay said he was worried about Kyungsoo in 2016. But he improve, he overcame his stage fright, he used to have really bad stage fright, but over the years he gained more confidence and experience on stage and he doesn’t have it anymore. Funnily enough, after enlisting, he became more talkative and outgoing lol, the members said that he never been so excited for a comeback like he was during Obsession. I'm pretty sure he speaks English in private. He wouldn't be this fluent in pronunciation if he doesn't practice saying words in English.
