nice my bro taught me same way except, theirs this see through gasket glue called permatex clear RTV silicone, can get it at autozone or o'reillys. it comes with a funnel tube also and whats you do is put the strip of glue onto where the inside of the cuff is and grab your iron leave iron on where you glued it for 30 secs, then take iron away for a bit like 20 secs or so and put on again for another 30 secs, would prolly reapeat 4 times or so. It wont stiffen but will keep it nice and flexy. do both sides of the cuff, will leave it nice and wont come undone, also a couple days after you can wash and it wont come undone or anything. just becareful if you do buy it and do it, wear a mask cause it smells and try not to squeeze too much either cause then when u put iron on it the seal might pop out, just put a lil strip or so. thats what i used to do with my ben davis and fb county jeans and 501s.

A lil tip if you dont want your cuffs to come undone use some iron tape that will keep them crises crispy ✊🏽 keep up the firme work homie🫡
