Hi TJ 🥰 So is your purpose using on the highest level this device just for tightening skin? And/or is this device intended stimulate collage to plump the skin? But can also reduce fat in the face? As a 50+ yr old female I don’t want to lose facial fat.
As usual, the best reviews ever! ❤ I'm curious as to how this device compares to the Age-R Ussera Deep Shot since they are both technically HIFU and if this device is worh the upgrade. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the kind words! ❤️ The AGE-R High Focus Shot and the AGE-R Ussera Deep Shot are both HIFU devices, but they have some key differences. The Deep Shot targets deeper layers for lifting and tightening, mainly focusing on the SMAS layer, which helps with overall skin tightening and contouring. The High Focus Shot, on the other hand, is more precise and works on a smaller, more focused area, targeting the SMAS layer as well, but with more power for faster results, and it also stimulates collagen remodeling more intensely. If you're looking for more targeted, advanced results and faster treatments, the High Focus Shot would be a great upgrade. However, if you're happy with the lifting and tightening from the Deep Shot and aren’t looking for faster or more intensive results, you may not need to upgrade just yet. Either way, both are fantastic for skin rejuvenation!

I have use both, and this one is by far much more powerful. You can actually hear this one in the skin with each shot, and it definitely feels more noticeable. It's still passing certification for sale in the USA as it is classed as a clinic-grade device (hence it not being for sale on the Medicube US site just yet). Out of the two, this one also gives more visible instant results and really provides a complete, even coverage.
The possibility of facial fat loss is really daunting. I had a very full face and cheeks until around 40. Now at 42, my nasal folds actually look pronounced and the volume in my mid face and cheeks has gone down. I know this will probably only worsen because my moms nasal folds are really deep. She doesnt have jowls and other than the deep folds that make her look mean, she doesnt have wrinkles. Since i know what my future looks like, I have been reading up on RF and it seems like I would really benefit from it. i am jusg too afraid to loose more volume 😅 I have a consulation for thermage and microneedling vivace. Thank you for explaining this device and the science behind it!! Really excited to purchase and start using. I bought the deep shot ultra sound device in the summer and use it 3 time a week thinking more is more. I am going to back off of that after watching your videos. Is it possible to use both of these devices or should I just go with the Hifu? Love your channel and your knowledge!!
Hi TJ, I got my device yesterday after watching this video. I’m excited to use it, but I did a mild TCA Chemical peel 5 days ago and was curious as to how long I should wait before using this device. Thanks for your help!
Thank you!! I’m super excited about this. So, this won’t be really hot and almost burn the surface of my skin like my Mini Hifu 2.0? This heats up more under the epidermis then more similar to a clinic grade hifu?
Hi :) Any device that creates heat within the dermis has the potential to cause fat loss. In the face, the subcutaneous tissue layer is typically averaging at between 5.5 to 7mm deep, which is deeper than this penetrates, which is a maximum of 4.5mm. HIFU is very specific with its targeting and causes no damage outside of the highly focussed area it is working in, so when performed correctly, fat loss should be negligible.
Hi TJ, can you use this without the app? Also, did you use this on the body as well? Do you feel pain after the treatments? A friend had professional HIFU done and she said she felt a pain in her jaw for 2 weeks after...
It can totally be used without the app. There's a slight bruising sensation in some areas for around a week after a treatment - but it's not what I would call painful.
When using HIFU on the lower face, avoid the following areas: Lips - Avoid treating the lips and the surrounding skin to prevent swelling or bruising.. Corners of the Mouth & Jawline - Be cautious around the corners of the mouth and about 1 inch outward from there, as well as vertically down to the jawline, where the facial artery runs very close to the surface. This area should be avoided to prevent any potential vascular issues. Lymph Nodes -lymph nodes under the chin and jaw area to avoid any risk to the lymphatic system. Hope this helps
How does this device compare to a HIFU treatment that can be done in a doctor´s office or a clinic? I had my Ultraformer MPT done a week ago and they recommend a follow up treatment no earlier than 6 months after the procedure, because it takes time for new collagene and elastine to build up and the results should continue to improve over the next few months. However, the MEdicube´s device is recommended to use once a week. Isn´t that too often as they can both penetrate to the same depth? My TIP: If you want to be treated by a professional for a reasonable price, get a cheap flight to Frankfurt or Berlin and you can get it done in a renowned clinic for around 500€ for the whole face, which is significantly cheaper than in the UK.
Good day,You applied the Medicube high focus device between the eyelid and the eyebrow in your video. Can this be done? Medicube wrote not to do this. Did you see any improvement between your eyebrows after using it?
Hi, how does this device compare to the Ziip and the Medicube pro when it comes to results? Sounds amazing, if I already have the Ziip, which other device would you recommend for tightening which is my main concern? Thanks
Can this device be used on the nose? I have a large crease across my nose from allergies and wanted something to smooth it out. If this device cannot be used do you have any recommendations for an RF device that can? Thank you!
Hey tj great video, have you ever tired medicube - Age-R Ultra Tune 40.68 - 320g Am wondering if this device is good or not? And have by chance tired it out? I looked it up apparently it also combines rf, with micro current.. cheers 🍻 👏
TJ, how would i mix this with my Lumo RF, and my Nira Pro & Precision? Right now i do Nira daily, Lumo RF on Mondays, and Medicube Age R Ussera on Thursdays. I will be replacing the Ussera with this high Focus.
I have all of those devices (though I use the medicube RF and not the lumo) use your devices as normal, then I would add in the HIFU once a week on Thursdays for the first six weeks, then once every 2 weeks for a further six weeks. Then once every four to six weeks there after.
Can you use the different modes (volume, firming…) one after another? How do you safely incorporate them? I’m not finding other tutorials on this device, or on their website/app. Appreciate your help:)
Can I ask the best way to clean the hifu device? And it's says not to use over T-Zone but what if you have 11's can you pass the machine briefly over this area? Thanks so much for your video...really useful.
Hi. Just wipe it down with a damp or dry cloth. I cover the zones to avoid in my latest update for it. The 11's are caused by muscle contraction and not the smas (plus they are vascular, so best not to use over them) but a simple jab with just a couple of units of botox can help massively. If you don't like the thought of neuromodulators, regular microneedling can also help soften them.
Thanks for your videos! They are super helpful. How does this compare to ultherapy in office? Is it the same strength ultrasound and the same wavelength? I know ultherapy goes 4.5 mm deep, but also 3 and 1.5 mm and the technicians doing it uses ultrasound to pick the target depth. How does this machine decide how deep to go or is it “blind” like a softwave treatment that goes 2.5 mm deep? Is there a mechanism to avoid damage to nerves and fat? On website it doesn’t look like there is a way to select depth… just different levels of intensity.
This one is a whole other level compared to the mini HIFU 2. Don’t get me wrong, the mini 2 is still a decent little device. But this one is a lot stronger and the results way more visible. The difference is that the high focus shot doesn’t have any other frequencies. It’s just pure HIFU. This means that there’s less risk of damage to any of the facial fat due to excessive heat that you get from the combined RF with other devices.
Hi TJ 🫶 Sorry I keep asking this question, I noticed you said there is liquid in this device, does that mean it will only deliver up to a certain amount of High Focus Shots, does the device have a shelf life?
@@richrnndz2 Hi. Shots are unlimited. It's a contained device, so there's no depletion of the liquid. The only thing that will cause it to stop working is when the battery eventually down regulates. (Which should be several years of consistent use at a minimum) 😊
The High Focus Shot is much more powerful and offers far superior results in fewer treatment sessions. If I was choosing, I would choose this one - but it all depends on your goals.
@@TJTutorials This device has unlimited shots and has non-replaceable parts, correct? I dont have to fill in or refill the liquid you have mentioned inside?
Great question. They both target different layers within the skin, each delivery slightly different results. The Nira Pro is all about wrinkle reduction, collegen stimulation, and retexturizing while the high focus shot is all about tightening the smas layer, lifting, and restructuring the dermis. But you are right that they both deliver heat in different means.
Hi. It's a different modality completely. The Booster is electroporation, needle-free microneedling, and microcurrent, etc. No heat-generation modes. Booster Pro is for complexion and uppermost layers, HIFU is for lifting, tightening, and collagen production in the deeper layers. Perfect partners IMHO.
@@TJTutorialswould you use the ems and rf in the booster pro every other day and then the high focus once a week? And then maintainance? How do you do maintance with both devices ? I just got both
Hi. It's a completely different frequency and working level. The Newa + RF is perfect for the upper layers of skin and collagen stimulation. This one is about tightening the scaffolding the skin is attached to (The SMAS) as well as collagen induction. Out of the two, this one is clinic-grade, whereas the NEWA is a premium RF device :)
Hey TJ.. i have been using Ussera for over a year, and I'm interested in getting High Focus device. What's the differences between these two devices? Do they target the same skin concern? Thanks 😊
@@TJTutorials the lowest level should be the safest? since it reaches the same layer 4.5mm, how do the different intensities work in the same depth? is it that more heat is generated?
HI, looove you videos:) My question - what the difference between this new AGE-R High Focus Shot HIFU Device and the Deep Shot. Do you need both or? I have the Deep Shot - but if you only need one and the new one it more powerful i for sure want to by that instead. For now i use the Deep shot 2-3 time a week. How often do you need to use the New Focus Shot?
Hey, thanks so much for the love! 😊 The AGE-R High Focus Shot HIFU and the Deep Shot are both fantastic, but they target different layers. The Deep Shot focuses on deeper skin layers for tightening and lifting, while the AGE-R High Focus Shot specifically targets the SMAS layer for lifting and tightening, plus it boosts collagen remodeling for longer-term skin rejuvenation. If you already have the Deep Shot, you might not need the new Focus Shot unless you're looking for more focused, powerful results that work on the deeper layers of the skin and collagen production. For the AGE-R High Focus Shot, you’d typically use it about once a week to once a month, since it’s stronger. The Deep Shot can be used 2-3 times a week. Hope that helps! 😄
Can we use it on the jowls or is that space considered a 'no-fly-zone'? My weak spot that needs work really happens to be from the corner of my mouth down to my jawline and a bit under...that dreaded jowl. Thoughts? To buy or not to buy....🧐 PS LOVE your passion and clarity TJ! Thank you for all you share! 🥳
@mozziiie I would use either bipolar RF at a mid-level intensity or the NIRA Pro (which is also one of the very few devices that can be used across the entire neck too)
I really want it; I m just a bit scared about the pain level...I had the Tripollar Stop VX with the DMS mode and I was not able to use it because it was so painfull; like an elastic snap; I stopped using it.
Hi TJ, Could you be more specific regarding the area by the mouth that you would avoid with this device? Can it be used for marionette lines and the jaw area below the corner of the mouth? Thank you for reviewing this so quickly, I’m in the US and received an email from Medicube showing the new device and when I went to the website it shows it available for purchase (and on sale like they usually do) so I was very curious.
I think that new device on the US website is the Ultra Tune. I just checked and they don’t have this HIFU device on sale yet. I hope it’s available by Black Friday for the 50% off + 10% extra off.
thank you for your review, try to find a review but it seems that medicube only release it at Korean first, Korean reviews are quite stereotype, mostly they said how they bought it.

Can I use aloe vera gel as replacement of the gel ?
You can 👌
Buying on eBay means no Medicube warranty if issues in the first year? Thank you 🥰
Great as always TJ! Thank you. Just bought from your link. TJ I am also looking for a home Tixel technology machine. Are you aware of one out there and have you tried Tixel.... would love your thoughts on Tixel. ❤
I bought the micheine from your link. Please show us how to put it together? And use it from the start????????
How would you compare this to your OG mini hifu device?
Literally miles ahead. This is a whole new ballgame for home-use HIFU. :)

Really noticed a difference.
Great video! How could i combine this with a lumo without overdoing it?
Does this product's battery drain quickly? How long can the battery be used on a full charge?
Hi TJ, I got my device yesterday after watching this video. I’m excited to use it, but I did a mild TCA Chemical peel 5 days ago and was curious as to how long I should wait before using this device. Thanks for your help!
I’d wait at least 2 full weeks until full peeling stops personally.
Will do. Thanks, TJ! ❤ your channel!
Which gel do you suggest for this device?
Thank you!! I’m super excited about this. So, this won’t be really hot and almost burn the surface of my skin like my Mini Hifu 2.0? This heats up more under the epidermis then more similar to a clinic grade hifu?
Do you think this is effective for double chin?
Hi TJ, why is this device not available through Medicube? I just dont usually do business using Ebay.
You look amazing💋 thanks for sharing❤
Does level one or two still penetrable into 4.5 mm deep?
Thank you so much for the demonstration and explanation of this device. 😊
Can this device cause fat loss?
Hi :) Any device that creates heat within the dermis has the potential to cause fat loss. In the face, the subcutaneous tissue layer is typically averaging at between 5.5 to 7mm deep, which is deeper than this penetrates, which is a maximum of 4.5mm. HIFU is very specific with its targeting and causes no damage outside of the highly focussed area it is working in, so when performed correctly, fat loss should be negligible.
@@TJTutorials thank you for your response 😊
@@TJTutorials hello ❤️ Could you recommend one to burn localized fat in the body?

Hi TJ, can you use this without the app? Also, did you use this on the body as well?
Do you feel pain after the treatments? A friend had professional HIFU done and she said she felt a pain in her jaw for 2 weeks after...
It can totally be used without the app. There's a slight bruising sensation in some areas for around a week after a treatment - but it's not what I would call painful.
@@TJTutorialscan you use this on stomach / thighs ?
Hi TJ - Thank you! Just bought one. Which areas of the lower face should we avoid?
When using HIFU on the lower face, avoid the following areas:
Lips - Avoid treating the lips and the surrounding skin to prevent swelling or bruising..
Just ordered 👍🏽😀
Nice... You got it
How does this device compare to a HIFU treatment that can be done in a doctor´s office or a clinic?
Hello! Can this be used for the body? My focus is lose fat slowly. Medicube is the only thing available in my area right now. TYIA
Thank you!
Hey tj great video, have you ever tired medicube - Age-R Ultra Tune 40.68 - 320g
Am wondering if this device is good or not? And have by chance tired it out? I looked it up apparently it also combines rf, with micro current.. cheers 🍻 👏
Really curious about this device aswell
Can i use medicube jelly cream as conductor for the high shot?
@@aniskuntara3906 yes it's water-based it's not a problem
Do you feel like this is the number 1 device to buy? I saw your video on RF also.
Do you have a copy of the manual in english. I have the user manual and the quick guide but they are in Korean. Thank you so much.
@@TJTutorialsAwesome! Thank you so much!
Is the subtle difference temporary?
Thanks so much for replying..😊
Thanks for your videos! They are super helpful. How does this compare to ultherapy in office? Is it the same strength ultrasound and the same wavelength? I know ultherapy goes 4.5 mm deep, but also 3 and 1.5 mm and the technicians doing it uses ultrasound to pick the target depth. How does this machine decide how deep to go or is it “blind” like a softwave treatment that goes 2.5 mm deep? Is there a mechanism to avoid damage to nerves and fat? On website it doesn’t look like there is a way to select depth… just different levels of intensity.
Hi TJ please confirm again please how many times a week i can use or can I use daily?
Omg no, don't over use hifu. About 6 weeks between treatments at the very least..but 3 months is better
@@shantolion1576 ❤
I have Mini Hifu 2.0 , Do you think i should get this one ? is it that much better ?
This one is a whole other level compared to the mini HIFU 2. Don’t get me wrong, the mini 2 is still a decent little device. But this one is a lot stronger and the results way more visible. The difference is that the high focus shot doesn’t have any other frequencies. It’s just pure HIFU. This means that there’s less risk of damage to any of the facial fat due to excessive heat that you get from the combined RF with other devices.
@@TJTutorials Im your new subscriber, I will order this one too then . Thank you so much
always nice video and good information, I use microcurrent device and led therapy mask ,three time per week, can I use this device?
Yes, HiFU is considered safe to use alongside frequencies like LED and Microcurrent 😊
Hiiii from Denmark, looove your contend. Short question, how often do you use this? One a week or? Or do you have any downtime? And THANKS:)
Hi, they recommend weekly for the first month in the manual, then monthly thereafter. No downtime:)
Hi TJ 🫶
Sorry I keep asking this question, I noticed you said there is liquid in this device, does that mean it will only deliver up to a certain amount of High Focus Shots, does the device have a shelf life?
@@richrnndz2 Hi. Shots are unlimited. It's a contained device, so there's no depletion of the liquid. The only thing that will cause it to stop working is when the battery eventually down regulates. (Which should be several years of consistent use at a minimum) 😊
@@TJTutorials You're the best! Thanks for always answering my questions! I tried the Ultra Tune and you were right, definitely can't feel much.
Why is this device not being sold on their Medicube website?
It is being sold on the Korean Medicube website. As it’s a clinical grade device, it’s not yet been cleared for sale on the US site
@@TJTutorials Thank you
I am planning to get the Age R Userra... now I have watched this. What to buy budget wise?
The High Focus Shot is much more powerful and offers far superior results in fewer treatment sessions. If I was choosing, I would choose this one - but it all depends on your goals.
@@TJTutorials This device has unlimited shots and has non-replaceable parts, correct? I dont have to fill in or refill the liquid you have mentioned inside?
I have the nira pro laser. Do you think they will get similar results? Seems like both deliver heat just in different means. Laser vs Hifu
Will it affect face fat and reduce it
Could this be used on the body? Looking for something to use on arms. Thanks!
Absolutely. though, it's made mainly for the face and neck.
Hey, I almost want to buy it. But how would you compare this with the Medicube Age R Booster?
I just got both
Thank you. How does this compare to the Newa+ RF home device?
@@TJTutorials Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it very much. And....hello from Canada! 😃

does it cause fat loss in the face
Hi :) Any device that creates heat within the dermis has the potential to cause fat loss. In the face, the subcutaneous tissue layer is typically averaging at between 5.5 to 7mm deep, which is deeper than this penetrates, which is a maximum of 4.5mm. HIFU is very specific with its targeting and causes no damage outside of the highly focussed area it is working in, so when performed correctly, fat loss should be negligible.
@@TJTutorials the lowest level should be the safest? since it reaches the same layer 4.5mm, how do the different intensities work in the same depth? is it that more heat is generated?
I have the Ussera Deep Shot. How to pair both of these devices? Can you lease let me know
Second this:)
Do you think this device is effective for stretchmarks?
I don’t think this is really the best choice for stretch marks. Fractional radio frequency is often the most recommended option. ☺️
