- The hardscaping of the seating wall and columns is finished in the new patio! With this part of the project complete, the patio is really beginning to take shape, and look fabulous. Join us for a candid video as we install the columns on a cold & wet January afternoon. With our fabulous crew, even a yucky weather day is fun and entertaining!
PS - I understand that some of the audio may be a bit hard to hear as I am the only one wearing a mic. Filming a video while working on a project is not as easy as it may seem.

Your a breath of fresh air Jenny.
You’re very kind, thank you 😊
I'm like you: dance a little jiggy after BIG parts completed!! Looks great!
I love seeing you smooch your fella!
He needed a bit of loving 😉
@@GardeningwithCreekside 🤗
I'm standing in my nice warm kitchen, drinking my coffee watching you guys work in the cold rain. All your hard work will pay off.
I love that you are showing this in real time and not just - hey look it’s done! So much more relatable which I really appreciate 😂
It is a fun video, but it does require to have someone follow you around all day filming 😂
Good Morning sweet Jenny 🌞. You all look exceptionally happy and healthy. Many blessings to all of you.
Working with friends always makes the job more fun❣️
It’s coming right along!! The final patio is going to be AWESOME!! Those columns turned out gorgeous! Still seeing them capped with a tall slender urns filled with gorgeous colorful plants while still allowing elbow room & a spot to sit your cup or glass. Jenny & Jerry two of the hardest working gardeners in the South!!!❤️
Thanks so much! The urns have been ordered from Unique Stone, so now I have to patiently wait for them to arrive 😩😉
@@GardeningwithCreekside I can’t wait to see it! I just know it’s going to be fab! Now I’ll be eagerly waiting too. I’m redoing my patio (much much much smaller) & I can’t wait to tear it all out ‘ put it up all new & fresh with my David Austin roses - all 10 of them!🥴). I also have urns on order - so we wait together.
@@GardeningwithCreekside what did you pick if we can know; you know we're watching to get great ideas from you!
@@laurieanne9712 I picked out the ‘Weston Urn’. It’s a relatively new design for them, and I love it size and simplicity for this space. uniquestone.com/products/weston-urn/
@@GardeningwithCreekside Jenny, the Weston Urns will look fabulous on those columns!
Oh my Lord, how beautiful is that?!!!😍 It's going to be fabulous!!! 😃
I know!!!!
The 🙂 glue made me LOL. “Joy” indeed!!
Such fun sitting back with a cup of coffee, watching your hard work progress. Thanks for keeping things real and informative. XOX

So nice of you!

I’m just so impressed that you guys do it all yourselves! So talented...
I saved you for my end of day pick me up. I'm guessing I'm not the only one depressed tonight. You lifted my spirits
This makes my heart happy, so glad this brought you a bit of encouragement 💕
Jenny and Jerry, you guys work great together and make an excellent team. Andrew and Christine were also part of your dream team today, with everyone working together to complete another part of that beautiful patio. It's coming together, and I'm so happy for you guys! ~Margie
Loved your choices of music!!! It’s BEAUTIFUL-All of you!!!! What it reminded me of was the teamwork involved in the old fashioned barn raising!! I hope that young man realizes how fortunate he is learning so many different things working with you folks! SO excited for your family-it is GREAT!
Beautiful wall! It was so cool seeing Jerry cut the stone! Dan’s envious of Jerry’s equipment! He said, “Jerry has everything!” 💜🥰

Thank you❣️
Looking good!
Thanks!
You have a hard working hubby that seating area is going to be really pretty
Yes I do 💙
Looks amazing!! Excited about that Amazon delivery!
I know you're going to LOVE IT!!!!
I just stumbled upon your work here and I love it. Can you please tell me about the stone that you have selected to make the wall and columns? What is the cap stone on the top of the columns and the seating area? Did it all have to be specially ordered? Will you be paving the whole patio with the same stone and is it what you made the firepit with? Sorry that I came so late to the party...! Keep up the good work! It's gorgeous!
🥰
Need to start a fire in the pit to warm up looking really nice
Are the caps on the fire pit bench the same size as the stones/ bricks used for the bench itself?
Any reason you didn’t make a fire to keep you all warm? 🌋The music when Jerry was making the cuts had me dancing while putting on a pot of grits.
Ha ha ha! Halfway through the project I asked that very question! I think it was that the fire pit is so new we didn’t even think about using it 🤦🏻♀️
@@GardeningwithCreekside I figured as much. 👍🏽
Looks great! What blocks did you use, do you remember? Having a hard time finding these right now
Amazing. Do you mind me asking what is that substance your using to make the stones stick together?
Why do I love your expressions!!! Love the build. It’s beautiful and inspiring. What kind of adhesive did you use?
Thanks! It was a glue rated for stonework that we got from the landscape supply center where we bought the stones.
Jenny I’m thinking you were a cheerleader when you were in school!
😂😂😂. Nope! Didn’t make the squad so I joined the swim team 😉
Sorry but it look like Jenny is doing more supervising and Jerry is the mmm person getting it done. 🤣🤣🤣But creative thinking I guess is also hard work. Well done❤️❤️
Every job needs a supervisor!
I totally am! Just like I said in the previous patio update, it’s really hard to have 3 people doing the same job on top of each other. Plus, after 20 years of marriage I know how to be a great helper to my husband. Teamwork is the dream work!
@@GardeningwithCreekside just joking agree 100% it is awesome to do things together.. I enjoy your videos. You just always have a smile and take things in your stride. It's awesome. ❤️
Jenny are you the one who figured out how to measure the top stones to fit so snuggly? I’ve never seen it done the way you did
what did you use to make your pavers piled up and keep it on its place?
Hi, it looks wonderful and I want to copy it, lol. The link does not work for the light, help!
Looks incredible! Will you have lighting on the columns?
We sure will!
This looks super good. Would you mind sharing where you got the blocks from?
Thank you! All of our stone pieces are Belgard products.
what size stones did you use and where did you get them from? I'm looking to do the same thing. Would greatly appreciate the information.
I like that seating bench. Can you tell me where you bought the caps from?
All of the stone was purchased from our local Site One store
Was your hair frozen at one point? The wall and columns look so good!!!
Not frozen, just wet. It never technically rained, but was this very heavy mist. My girls were amazed at how my hair curled once it got damp. They were fussing that they try hard to make their hair curl like that with the curling iron and mine just gets rained on and BAM, pretty curls 😂😂😂
What's the name of the first song, please. I keep on playing this video just to hear the glorious violins.
Mamacita estas bien linda y tines muy buen humor
👋😄
👋🏻
Looks great but SAFETY GLASSES when using the saw.
I love you
Are y’all going to make a video when I’m over there
Depends on what we are doing on Saturday
@@GardeningwithCreekside make a video so I can be in it
Very first to comment
Good morning!
7:20, The cap dosen't look level.
Seems like you are using a LOT of glue for bricks made to stay in place with gravity....
It's a seating wall. There will be people sitting, leaning, and most likely kids climbing on the wall. Imagine what would happen if it wasn't fastened down...
@@GardeningwithCreekside that DOES make sense. I didn’t even think about that as I am in the works to build my own fire pit wall. Thanks!
the two guys are just wishing she would go away and let them work... ive made that same face on multiple occasions when the supposed "project manager" decided to "help"
Rick, you made the wrong assumption, that is my wife you are talking about and I’m very happy to have her around all the time. Jerry
