Guwahati: Ethnic Mising community celebrates Ali-Aye-Ligang festival

Ali-Aye-Ligang, the main harvest festival of the ethnic Mising community was celebrated with traditional fervor in Guwahati on Wednesday. Ali-Aye-Ligang stands for the first sowing of seeds and fruits (Ali means fruits, aye means seeds and ligang means sowing).
