Looking good! Your yard is really coming along good. AND, your shorts, are definitely a bright spot. Haha.

Thanks Jason....lol! Our landscape is getting there. I planted flowers in the center bed area. Lots of butterflies and pollinators coming around now. I have cucumbers coming up in the garden beds. I will do a video on the garden beds, landscape plants and trees.

@@kl1958 Yes, it does. Watching them grow to maturity and then getting those first eggs.....pure joy!

Impressive as always. Sometimes that compacted-straw is very-itchy. I use it too but I add power-permethrin just in case the itch is mites. I tried the organic DE-only but it just makes everything extremely dusty where limited amounts of Permethrin-dust doesn't.
I'll probably also spray IG-regulator from TS too, but only during peak-habitat temperatures for bugs b/c it is expensive and only works for about 21 days, it works noticeably well as I always see deformed bugs around the coop after spraying IG-reg where even the cicadas come out of that soil dwarfed.

Thanks so much for watching and the tip on the straw if it starts bothering them. So far no issues. I'm going to use it in the nest boxes too. 😊

@@colesbackyardcoop My stores offer two options, the Compressed-bale can sometimes be itchy but the Premium chopped straw bags are clean.
