    I think the line which sums up this talk, plus where we are now with exoplanets is "its not just about finding exoplanets, its now about categorising them"

    New optical chip out today, Dec 6th, for cancelling solar light. Assoc Prof Steve Madden, Australian National University, "This chip is an interferometer that adds equal but opposite light waves from a host sun which cancels out the light from the sun, allowing the much weaker planet light to be seen,"
