Excel studied drums in Los Angeles, CA. He's not doing any drumming at the moment and only focusing on his business. He married the daughter of a popular Pastor in Indonesia. For Ray, he is considered as one of the best drummers in Indonesia alongside Echa Soemantri. He also contributed as a recording drummer for top artists in Indonesia.

You can also check Ray's youtube channel Mohammad Raynald Prasetya. So many interesting drummers in Indonesia at the moment, many inspired by gospel drumming after modern drummer festival 2006.. One of the pioneer in Indonesia was Echa Soemantri, one of Ray's Idol.

@@DrumRoast No, Excel Mangare wasn't studied drums in Musicians Institute LA, but keyboard technology back in 2014, he already became a great drummer at that time. He played drums for Indonesian Idol in 2010, 2012 season and played with some artist such as Agnezmo and Marcello Tahitoe. He also holds some books of records in Indonesia as a youngest professional drummer and youngest drum endorsee (Sonor Drum) when he was 11 years old

Ray prastya already killed since very young age. He won many drum competition when he was kids.
I noticed that many of these guys are child prodigies from other similar comments.... I was still only playing video games at those ages :)))
