Haha, this is great! Thanks for playing my mission, and I apologize for the ammo (which has been long since fixed). I released the mod a day before RobZ updated his mod, and I didn't find out about it until 2-3 weeks later when I got flooded with messages about ammo and Raptor was telling me about it.

You know during the battle of Fredericksburg in the American Civil War at least some of the troops on both sides were reduced to putting their socket bayonets on their muskets and throwing them at the enemy like spears. apparently the troops traded weapons a few times :D not really related but you reminded me of that with your comment, lol

EDIT: wait, stealing enemy equipment isn't realistic?! dude, there were entire Soviet divisions that used German tanks! it was so common that soviet high command had overall orders about which tanks to keep and which to use until they broke down!
hell, the British Coldstream Guards infantry unit ran a panther for a while! then there's the whole Beutepanzer thing.

I've tried this Mission too. Failed at Day 2, when the Greyhounds completely destroyed my defense in the middle, since my guys where to incompetent to Hit them with their Panzerfausts, and I got just swarmed by infantry.
Also, you should keep singing Sabaton-songs. That gives your game an Instant Bonus of +3 on awesomeness. (The Legend says, that if you listen to Ghost Division while playing with german tanks in War Thunder, you win every match)

Fun fact about the WWII German winter uniforms towards the later parts of the war: The jacket could be turned inside out. Switching between a sort of Autumn/early Spring camo, and the Winter camo.

They captured tchechoslowakian armoured production and kept on producing, this is why some tanks have letters in brackets behind their names: Pz.38(t) t means that it is produced from chesoslovakian design. Also there was a KV1 which had an (r) behind it were they built a german 75mm canon in it.
They captured dozens of KV-1's, but only one was fitted with the 75mm cannon. Also, Germany captured almost twenty Shermans in the war and fielded them as the "PzKpfw. M4 748(a)", and they would have captured more if the Sherman didn't tend to catch fire when it was hit, rendering it useless. But yes, they captured tanks from several countries and reused or modified them. Probably the most notable were their French, Soviet, and Czech ones.
