I love this! He said, "our Yiddish was different." I remember sometimes my grandparents arguing with the in-laws over different words they used because the Yiddish was different 😂.
What a magical time to know the Rebbe, not when you're an adult but when you're a child, full of innocence and without expectations. Extra nice of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to also give ten dollars for the chasidim outside to exchange. My thought is he did it so that the child would not find out that the chasidim cheated on him, thus preserving his innocence. Also the lockers thing was a nice story in itself with the Lubavitcher and Bobover Rebbeim.
Thanks!
A one of a kind Rabbi for sure. The stories don’t end…
Your uploads of stories as they relate to the Rebbe of Blessed memory, always uplift my spirits.
Thank you for them JEM.
Love it. Great story

Sorry for the sloppy writing, I am on a complicated situation at the moment while watching Rebbe videos at the same time.
Yidish sounds like yidish. I mean jiberish
Dress British, think Yiddish.
