For the price, it's hard to argue the quality and amount of accessories you get. I'm definitely picking up the advent calendar. I'm just so happy to have these characters in toy form in a way that can interact with playsets and vehicles.
I would say the toy train is unlikely. I will explain the reasons why 1. Playmobil cancelled there WHOLE train line a few years ago. It was RC stuff 2. The mock up i have seen of the train was released in the late 80s/90s which was the Western train. These are super rare and expensive now. 3. The costs of putting the line back in production and re-adapting the western set to use RC stuff will be expensive. (Western Set was LGB, was produced upto circa 1996 when the EU Laws changed)
@@hurstinator The train may not be rc tho, since it would have to facilitate the folding wheels and deploying wings for its own hover conversion, so that element gutted it may be more feasible
@dakotaraptor the western set the motors is held in the tender body. Not the main part of the train. Will still need adapting. Even if you go static for the hovertrain
The fact the part 3 DeLorean toy looks like it can be on rails, I'm just hoping there's at lest a way to recreate the climax of the movie, if we don't get the time train

If only they had made a Ghostbusters calendar too! It could have had a cardboard cutout of the Temple of Gozer. The figures will be a version of Peter Venkman without slime, Gozer, The Zombie Taxi Driver, a marshmallow covered Winston Zeddemore, Vigo, Dana Barrett (not possessed) and Walter Peck. There will also be some accessories, including the slimed toaster from the second film, the Ecto-1 license plate, a fridge with a sticker of the purple void with a terror dog inside it, a bag of stay puft marshmallows, a marshmallow covered proton pack along side a clean one, marshmallow splats similar to the slime splats from the previous sets and a bag of stay puft marshmallows!
A time duplicate of the delorean is sent forward to 2025 after it was struck by lightning in 1955. I hope this is acknowledged when the 40th anniversary rolls around!
It's actually genius that playmobile separates all the delorean parts and puts them in different sets. They know all people want is the delorean and maybe the clock tower. So they separate them so that if people want these versions of the car you have to buy THE ENTIRE BTTF LINE
I am so looking forward to the 3rd movie delorean! Like I don't usually go for Playmobile. I'm a Lego bloke but I will totally buy the playmobile delorean as to be honest, while it's a tad childish and it is really meant for kids, I think it's cute. If I wanted realism and accuracy I would have bought the 1/6 delorean replica, so the playmobile sets tick the boxes for me.
Just an FYI, the "stopwatch" that doc has is actually the MP3 player that Marty used to wake up his father. It can be seen on the comic book cover (Left hand).
Not sure what you're talking about in the video (comic book?) but it was a Walkman cassette player that Marty used to wake his father up. There was no such thing as an MP3 player in 1985.
For all of the add-ons they've included for the DeLorean between different sets, it's too bad they didn't include those transparent blue parts in their proper silver color as a swap out part.
Why did they even make the tail lights a sticker in the first place on the car?...kinder a dumb idea really...its not like you could swap stickers easily anyway without ruining them...why didn't they just make the rear lights part of the car and make the licence plates as separate pieces that could be clipped on or held in place with a magnet...this is one of the main reasons why I never bothered picking up this model because it's so inconvenient with stickers aswell as poor thought going into it's design to compensate for custom features.
What was the point of making the rear tail lights on the car a sticker?...very lazy on playmobil's behalf...should of made them part of the car so the licence plates could be separate pieces to be swapped snapped on! Would of bought this model if not for this poor design flaw.

I just made my own from a bic pen and a krazy glue tube and customized the whole car and i also built the front box for part 3
