I'm not sure how this video ended up on my TH-cam feed but watching it on the big screen was absolutely beautiful. Great footage and very well explained. 💯
Really good work. Interesting subject material, well explained, good pacing and voiceover getting the balance right with well filmed and edited visuals, well selected music. Nice blend of geology and small practical details. Far superior to most You Tube content.
Had you been my Geography/Geology professor…I would have gone into this field as a profession! Your knowledge and thoughtful way you discuss the geological history and geography are mesmerizing! I’m so glad I found your channel and subbed!!! 💙🗺️
Wow, fantastic. Your editing is deeply engaging as are your run, pan and swing shots. Voice over is really excellent, got a perfect voice for this. Just as you starting to say, "this could be an island Ina distant ocean." I was thinking of some of those lush, tropical, basalt islands, in the Pacific. Then the waterfall made me think of Maui. Thank you.
Thank you! That was an amazing video all round, the scenery the history of the formation of the islands and a sneaky few moments of 'Big country' courtesy of the coach driver (don't worry I'm sure you tubes algorithm didn't catch it).
What beauty. Great drone footage, don't think I have enough courage to fly my drone's over water. The rock formation between 18:00 and 18:11 looked like a Turtle's head, I wonder if anyone else noticed it. Another great video from you. Thanks.
the rock formation I think is called the Pulpit and I came across references to it.. going along the beach in the other direction the out crop I catch a glimpse of is called the fort. I missed lots of other locations like the petrified tree, another 5 mile walk along the northern coast.. but a great excuse to return. glad you enjoyed the video, we live on a very blessed island
❤️love it. Brought back memories of a special place but with the added extras of seeing the places I’d missed. The scenery and colours are absolutely stunning but I do have a soft spot for the Iona ferry bit 😀
oh i missed this one, incredible drone work here, very interessting geology there, i didnt think the older rocks started until way up north or harris and lewis,
yes Iona is the most southerly outcrop.. there is a little island off the coast of N.Ireland. Glad you like the drone work.. visiting Norway which is just huge and a scale that is difficult to capture certainly knocked me out of complacent flight plans.
That was AMAZING thank you. How long did it take you to make this? the drone footage blew me away, was that you to? I love Mull but never saw it in the way you show how amazing Mull is. I never get that weather every day either lol. You also put me straight I thought it was Scotland who moved away from North America and you mentioned there it was the other way around. Thanks for sharing Ray K UK YNWA.
so yes, I do everything... and as for weather it is sitting in my van for a few days waiting for those perfect days. Very glad you enjoyed it , it means a lot
No chance of volcanism on Mull, the plume, the hotspot is probably the same one underneath Iceland kicking off at the moment. Mull is a very beautiful memory of a fiery post.. glad you enjoyed the video j
thanks.. really very glad you enjoyed it. Mull is worth the visit although it is not always sunny [I did spend quite a lot time sitting in my van waiting for the weather]

Scotland has, without doubt, some of the best scenery anywhere in the world! Hugely under appreciated!
New Zealand is Scotland on steroids.
Fascinating and informative video. Love Mull ❤️

Stunning
Very interesting. Thank you. I wonder if Mull could rise again as a volcanic centre?

And they went to New Zealand to shoot LOTR, could have done it here as well.
Britain is an island of complete surprises
I live in town that time forgot, it's called Horncastle.
