Excellent story, I couldn’t agree more.
When I was farming it seemed like I was in charge of my life but really it was the crops that needed to be cared for and the broken equipment that needed repair. I prioritized all of it but things had to happen at certain times and I had to work a massive amount of hours to be ready for it.
Now there is no schedule. At the end of each day there’s typically a concept of what tomorrow will bring. Frequently that will all change in the morning. Most things just aren’t important enough to have a hard deadline. Occasionally there are days where there are multiple high priority tasks but it is rare.
Absolutely correct! Things do arise on occasion. But that is truly rare an you can change your direction at will. Enjoy life!
