It's going through a Roland MX1, but all the credit has to go for to the Rytm MKII for the sound!

I really appreciate your videos and I would like to hear your opinion on a minimal techno / trance uplifting package. I intended to buy an Analog Rythm MK2 and an Analog Four MK2, as well as a Roland MC 707 and TR 8S and for the bass line a mb33 mam, a Korg Xd rack, Electribe 2, Toraiz as- 1 this way i will have a varied range of sounds. What do you think? No Elektron and Roland duo? Certainly too much material I presume, I would like to have an efficient set with what it takes without duplicate material. Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you in advance for your response and advice

Is there any significant difference between m1 and mk2 apart from the sampling and pads?

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I'll assume you've had all your found answers to your questions, but in case you haven't I found this to be the best overall comparison and review. www.musicradar.com/reviews/elektron-analog-rytm-mkii

The sound is a major improvement found its sequencer is much faster. And now with the black mk2 2.0 release they fixed all the dead pads bugs and added their latest firmware which makes it a much better sampler and now also a midi sequencer also they tweek bit with some add on sounds on their analog voices. But still the sound is cold and clinical. Not an mfb warmth and for sure nowhere near an alpha base. But for what it offers rytm is the ultimate modern drum machine
