lets just say the system is linked to the portals but not in the way you think. so whenever he ends up going into a portal there is a high chance things get worse to challenge him. so it is a very high chance that the red gate is due to his system.
In season 1 ending Jinwoo completed job change quest(fight with igris) and was on his way back to his home, and s2 starts from him sleeping in his room and him going to Jinah's guardian teacher meeting which was shown in last ep. If that helps.
No, the car ride was at the end of episode 10 heading to the job change quest. At the end of of ep 12 the shadow army kneeled before him. I rewatched it earlier this week. 😁
7:35 The new mission was when he fought igris. It as a new dungeon he unlocked. In the manhwa after he beats igris he leaves dungeon at night and goes to sleep. Then he gets awaken by his sister with phone call. (which is where episode starts) They just left out him leaving the dungeon.
In the light novel, Kim Chul and his team had just fought a giant when they were ambushed by the Ice Slayers. Several days had passed and all they'd had to eat was a single rabbit, so they were wounded, out of mana, and starving.
Plus I remember him actually being reasonable in the fact that, he tells the weaker hunters to stay put while he and others go defeat the boss so it will decrease the number of casualties. I feel like the manhwa makes him come of more logical than just being a Jerk.
@@knaditya8228 While it was Baek Yoon-Ho who mentions it, Kim Chul had a mana-compass, which pointed him towards the most powerful creature in the dungeon, which is what would have led him to the giant, because the Ice Slayers had a stealth skill. So, they defeated the giant, expecting that would reopen the gate, at which point they'd have a day to get back to the gate and get out.
@@knaditya8228 Yep, though annoyed at having E-Ranks in the Raid, he had adhered to the training he got. Since the Gate was reassessed on-field to B-Rank (after a C-Rank Gate changed to a Red Gate), Gate Ranking procedure is to have higher ranked Hunters to successfully raid the gate (C-Rank Gate needs atleast 5 B-Ranks to clear, whereas a B-Rank Gate approximately needs 10 A-Ranks to clear). They also changed the number of people for the raid in this episode when compared to the Novel and Manhwa, as Jinwoo and the girl were added last minute as observers, Kim Chul already had a full 10-Party Raid Team for this Internal Promotion Test but in the episode Kim Chul only brought 8 people (him an A-Rank, 5 B-Ranks and then 2 C-Ranks). It also doesn't help that by looking at their party composition, they look like they lacked a dedicated healer (IIRC the B-Ranked girl is a Crowd Control Mage). That said, Kim Chul overlooked the need for Survival which is the fatal mistake he made after deciding to split off those C-Ranks and Below. IMO the correct way should have been to assign the weak team to hunt for food and make a base camp while the stronger team goes out to scout out where the boss should be and fight via guerilla warfare to whittle the enemy numbers down. Without Food or a Safe place to rest, his team eventually succumbed to weakness after being ambushed by the Ice Elves.
@@jled787 yeah I vaguely remember Novel being different, It just sad that the anime downgraded him into just another jerk. Just so Jinwoo won’t be portrayed as a selfish person which the novel and manhwa explicitly show, they have been removing scenes that portray Jinwoo as self centred like the guy he throws to the boss in the spider gate etc. I like the anime very much and love the treatment they are giving it but it’s just a small nitpick I have with it.
In the previous season he did say it felt to him like the system specifically wanted him alive and getting stronger, so it's very possible the system said "Oh hey, here's a hardmode just for you!" before resetting it as a red gate.
Yes, there is also real reason why system wanted him to get stronger right now, might have something to do with that big guy outside portal wanting to kill him..
7:25 "I understand they had a big [raid] a while ago, to get rid of the island." Yes, and at least 2 S-ranks have PTSD from it, so ... "I'm confused. Season 1's ending isn't matching up with season 2." Jin-Woo completed the Job Change Quest, came home, and fell asleep. He slept so late (because he got home so early) that he nearly missed his sister's parent/teacher meeting.
25:15 That's an anime thing, they're cutting a few corners When he gets up after eating for example, he actually goes working out although its not shown here. The Manhwa cuts some corners from the original Novel, and the Anime cuts a few more from the Manhwa Novel > Manhwa > Anime (In terms of size and details)
Same in the novel, If I remember right the leader of this group, the A rank actually comes of logical since he gives valid reasons to why he wants to split the group into weaker members and stronger members. He only ditches the weaker group after he sees bear claws on the trees after separating, presuming the weaker group dead and since turning back might lead to more casualties, he moves on but adding those details would have made Jinwoo look like bad so both Manhwa and Anime removed it and went with making him a typical jerk character.
Just to summarize a lot of the things everyone might be saying (sorry, wanna condense things, at least when it comes to what the main questions were): First, S1 ended as Jinwoo left his job change assignment (for Shadow Monarch), and soon after, maybe the next day, or just a few days later (I think in the other sources he got home late, which was why it was midafternoon when his sis called), he had to go that teacher meeting. As for his foreign look (your skipped a season comment), his body was developing over time, but he looked different because he was more formally dressed (was wearing looser clothing before, but was ripped, even back in the hospital). Regarding the members going into the dungeon, may have been a mis-said statement, but they only had five B-ranks on their team, not multiple thousand. Also, I think it’s unusual for that red gate to have occurred, since gates are powered by some kinda energy (trying to keep it vague), and this is the first episode where red gates are mentioned, I believe. I think they also occur more with higher ranked gates, since the association/organization seemed shock by the C-ranked gate turning red, as the dungeon was practically moved to an isolated space (the door/gate became a wall, and said room within became isolated from the world, like, completely). Also, it was like an rpg for as to why the higher ranks were involved. With the C-rank gate, you can expect monsters of maybe similar abilities to C-rank hunters, perhaps (can’t recall if the series uses a 1 to 1 for dungeons and hunters), but the higher ranks save the lower ranks and keep them alive, just in case numbers are overwhelming, or situations where the monsters within don’t add up (so, basically it’s safety measures and experience tendencies, like with seniors helping juniors in jobs). Jeju Island (the one with ant monsters) was NOT a red gate, but a high-ranked gate (S, I think), and it broke (as in, the power keeping the gate closed from the inside gave out), releasing the ant monsters. This is what is seen in episode 1 of season 1, the initial raid on Jeju Island (I believe, may be wrong, if they did another at the start of the season). Also, yeah, I think, at this point in time, Jinwoo is still way weaker than the buff guy who was at the airport. It was mentioned in S1, but Dongsoo (the buff guy) is an S-rank living in the US. After Jinwoo attacked/killed his brother, he flew to Korea to hunt down Jinwoo and Jinho, the two involved with that dungeon. He ended up unable to get to Jinwoo at the Dungeon this episode, since Jinwoo was within the walled dungeon, and yes, Dongsoo does have a bad relationship with that one guy who verbally quarreled with him. Should show more of that in an episode or two, to keep it vague as possible. I don’t believe I left any spoilers in, having used some of what Jinwoo said this episode, and I think the general origins of the Jeju thing are shown in S1, so… yeah. Edits: Just fixing some minor things, such as names or events. In the case I got anything wrong, let me know (if you read the sources and actually did your research, I don’t want assumptions or vaguely recalled corrections for these, just saying)
Dongsoo is several times stronger than Jinwoo at this point. After all, the guy is like 7-8th strongest hunter in the whole world. Jinwoo needs another 20-30 levels to match up Dongsoo as Jinwoo current level is 52 (right after fighthing the bears). This is proven later on by one of the S hunters fighting Igris who is several times stronger than now and still getting absolutely obliterated. Monster wise leader of White Tiger mentioned that to finish B gate you need at least 3 A rank hunters and to finish A rank one at least 1 S rank hunter or 10 A rank ones are needed, so monsters and hunters are not 1:1 when it comes to ranks. Jinwoo at this point is also weaker than Igris. Both are around A rank, although I admit that Jinwoo abilities would enable him to fight on an equal footing with an S rank, people often overestimate how strong Jinwoo is.
Unfortunately if you saw the movie, you'll be waiting until the THIRD episode for new stuff. We got to see the first two eps during the movie which is the entirety of the Red Gate Arc. I saw it as well so unfortunately these first 2 weeks will just be repeats for us. Still awesome though obviously.
@@ptsebago1yeah but the new opening and ending with paired animation was not and waiting for that with the full first episode was so worth it, even if I saw the main content of the first two already because of the recap movie.
Him getting his Job after the Job Class Change Quest secured him his A-Rank Classification at around Low-Mid. Combine that with his Shadow Army, as long as he has enough Mana, he can challenge an A-Rank Dungeon 'alone' basically making him Equal 1 S-Rank Hunter or 15 A-Rank Hunters.
People are too hard on the A rank hunter, in my opinion, he knew that if he brought the weak hunters with him, they would die 100%, by taking only the strong ones and telling the weak ones to hide and wait for them to kill the boss, he increased, by a little bit, the chances that the weak ones would survive. And his decision to go straight to the elves is not bad either, he also knew that they would not survive if they waited for the dungeon break.
Luke remember that ice elf who did 'u are dead' thing to jinwoo in the next episode. His fate had been sealed the moment he angered jinwoo and the opening scene was that he was tired after doing the job change quest and came home after becoming the monarch of shadows
the idiot with the giant shield in Erwin from AOT. I didn't realize until he raised his voice to call everyone.. this anime has an incredible voice casting..!!😅
actually it isn't. 😅but it's also chikahiro kobayashi. the voice of legoshi the protagonist of beastars and ranga from tensei slime shitara.. i think this actor has something with wolves. since he has other jobs giving voice to these wolf characters...!!
Junichi Suwabe is the va of Dongsoo.. same guy who voiced sukuna.. Saitama’s voice actor, Makoto Furukawa voices Woo Jin Chul.. Man the casting is so peak🔥😊
i am in love with his delivery of "Get out here." when he summons his army to fight the bears! like someone else said, everyone has a crush on Jinwoo Solo Leveling was my favorite anime in 2024, and i have high hopes for season 2 great reaction as always; your excitement is contagious!
The Jinwoo-Igris thing kinda reminds me of rimuru and diablo in season 2. Diablo was rimurus subordinate but atleast on the same level as him, same with igris and jinwoo here. i kinda love realtions like that.
11:55 i would call it brains exactly, more like survival instincts. As a man who faced death more then he realy should and live he now thinks REALY fast, realizing solutions in the shortest amount of time. he knows how to stay alive and keep others alive
@7:40 he went and did his job change quest and was there til about 4 or 5 am then came home to sleep, got woken up by his sister who talked about the teacher conference before she went to bed
This anime picks up RIGHT AFTER season 1. You are correct, he drove a car outside of town so as to have an isolate spot to open his job-change quest gate (so others wouldn't see) and he came back after that quest and went to sleep, hence why he slept until 2 PM. :)
Solo leveling is the only anime where the summoned creatures have their own fan bases, and my favorite is yet ti show up yet🤣🤣 This episode was on point, i hope they keep this quality for the rest of the season because its going to be more insane........ Sung drip wu is real baby
Jin Woo, btw, stayed in the woods. Kim Chuul focused going TOWARDS the Ice Slayers. Jin Woo showed "If we are going to 'hold out', we don't look for the worst fight ever." Which is why he went into the woods. Kim Chuul picked the wrong strategy, where he assumed he would beat the Boss, but again, he is only an A-Rank in a RED Gate, which means it would be much harder than a C-Rank gate. Which is also why Jin Woo thought Kim Chuul's plan was the worst idea ever.
This episode was F*ING PEAK WOW, having my headset on was the right idea woooow, the MC voice actor is insaneeee! I wish the episode was longer though😵💫
Friendly reminder(especially for the ones that did NOT watch the recap movie, which included episodes 1 and 2 from season 2): Season 1 ended with the Arise moment of Igris and Jin. During that episode his sister mentions that Jin did not come home even though she had prepared something to eat and if he would remember about the school thingy. Season 2 starts with Jin being asleep a few hours after the Igris stuff and being kinda late for the school stuff of his sister.
At the end of Season 1 it closed out with Jinwoo in the throne room, the people in the helicopter were scoping out the island, to see how bad it had gotten...
30:27 No, that A-rank didn’t “just ran away.” He fought with his team, and they got decimated. Did you expect him to try to fight the rest by himself? The anime takes some liberties, but even if they hadn’t split their group up, there would’ve been casualties heading straight to the boss like they did.
Sung Drip Woo in da house! 😉 Next week episode gonna be a banger! 🤐 And here we go again. A season full of Luke asking question and get answers a second after. 🤣 Question counter : 3
Удивительно как студия решила начать новый сезон с козырей. А именно музыка 24:25. В первый раз у меня были мурашки в 6 серии первого сезона Solo Levelin. А здесь сразу в первой же серии
6:55 finally someone who realizes that Jinwoo is not able to take on Dongsoo, people be like „oh nah Dongsoo lucky there‘s a Red Gate“ n stuff like that
No, the scene with the car you remembered was the end of episode 10 😂😂😂 When he traveled to a forest to open the gate for the job-change quest. The episode 12 ended with him summoning the shadow army and awakening Igris. You should really have watched a recap if you forget 50% >.
I'm surprised that you realise the pacing is fast in the anime, cuz just to clarify, they did skip some small details from the manhwa for example they actually did have a scene where jin woo do his daily task, jin woo fighting the bears after giving the jacket, he goes to barber, etc. But overall this episode still capture the main point of the story so it's still a banger 🔥
I pulled the vid up when it said it was 13 seconds old and said it was taken down. Glad you got it up! I'm actually surprised at how much recap there was because of how much theyre gonna have to get through this season. I thought they would end later in the story than they actually did
once again im reminded of how much i love seeing anime onlys react to this show its just so cool to see the hype of getting to experience it for the first time on someone else this seasons gonna be a WILD ride and im so excited for you to see it! first episode was peak and it only continues to get better from here
As a reminder to Luke, Jinah was exposed to Jin Woo since he recovered from the Double Dungeon, while he did dramatically change from when he almost died to when he left the hospital, but Jinah dismissed it as a 'growth spurt' and wondering if he was 'working out'. Also, don't forget, the nurses who tended him also went 'Woah... He got ripped fast' and one of them actually asked him for a phone number (Him not realizing she wanted to date him). Thing is, Jin Woo knows well the horror of Dungeons when he was weak. And the thing that may not have been mentioned is the reason his father isn't there. There is a reason. Jin Woo is doing hunting because of his mother's condition. Luke apparently forgot about Hwang. This is the 'younger' brother of the other Hwang, the one who tried to kill Jin Woo. Hwang Dong Soo is the S-Rank, the reason the other brother claimed he should of not killed him. They skipped him driving back from his Job Change thing. Remember, he did the Job Change + Penalty Phase, which means, he didn't get back until well after 5 AM. Hence why he was sleeping until late afternoon because he drove back and was dead tired. Even in the Manwha, they glossed over this fact because it was 'kind of pointless'. Patience Luke - They will say who some of the new people are. But also, you heard a little description of this man back in Season 1. Kim Chul is the guy the one Hunter Girl (From White Tiger Guild, her name is Heejin Park) spoke of with the other two Hunter girls (Gina, the red head woman, and Lee Bora of Hunters Guild) during the Lizards episode, as Gina mentioned it is GOOD to be in a high rank guild due to sketchy strike teams. Heejin spoke about Kim Chul where she goes, "He's okay... But..." And now you will see why. While it is a C-Rank Dungeon, as mentioned last season, they use these C-Rank dungeons to train their new people. Just like how Haein Cha was helping with Gina and Lee in their raid, Kim Chul is suppose to help the 'newbies' know how to work in a raid as part of the White Tiger's Guild. With higher rankers in a C-Rank dungeon, it allows 'getting familiar' on how to raid tougher dungeons with a guild team so they know what to do. Think of it being like being a pro-sport player, you need to go to practice with the other team members before you play against another team. Now in the Manwha, the composition of this party was suppose to be 1 A-Rank, *7* B-Ranks and *4* C-Ranks from the White Tiger Guild + Jin Woo and Song-Yi. And here, we are introduced to Red Gate. Which will be explained... But Jin Woo did mention that 'Instance Dungeon' was like a 'Red Gate'. And no, what happened in Jeju Island was a DUNGEON BREAK, which is why hunters raid Dungeons, to prevent it if they can. Dungeon breaks is where the monsters come OUT of the gate and start attacking the area. The Ants on Jeju Island were from that dungeon break and there were 3 attempts to reclaim the island - All of which failed. That was a S-class dungeon break. And Luke is correct. Kim Chul does, indeed split the group in two. Him and the B-Rankers were suppose to be group 1, the C-Rankers, Jin Woo and Song-Yi were to 'fend for themselves'. Thing is, Heejin decides to side with Jin Woo. In the Manwha, 3 C-Ranks were left, but when Heejin switched to the other group, one of the C-Ranks went with Kim Chul. Here, there is only 1 C-Rank left and only 4 B-Ranks go with Kim Chul. As a reminder to Luke though, don't forget, this world, when you are evaluated, you don't change rank. So the arrogant attitude Kim Chul has is because of his A-Rank. And again Heejin did point this out in her little discussion with her friends. Kim Chul's fight is to demostrate how higher ranks would work or why he is arrogant. Heejin points out the same thing, but Jin Woo points out the benefit of going towards the Ice Bears. You aren't going to be fighting ambushers like the Ice Slayers. What's sad about here about the Bear fight with Jin Woo, they cut out some things. First - Heejin, being B-Rank, tries to protect the rest of the group, Jin Woo goes 'Hold my beer'. And one-shots the bear with a leap and downward punch. As a reminder to Luke - Hwang Dong Soo LEFT Korea to go to the USA. He is technically considered a 'traitor' to their people, since he is an S-Rank hunter who abandoned Korea for the US. No, Luke. This was NOT on purpose. This is pure luck. He knew about Hwang, but not the fact Hwang was going to be in the country. As a reminder to the last season, his 'doppleganger' mentioned 'Maybe luck is a skill too'... And Jin Woo is very lucky. Now after having an Epic fight, we see what happens to the 'A-Team'... And remember, this is 1 A-Rank and 4 B-Ranks. And they have engaged the Ice Slayers. Kim loses it now because his group pretty much got wiped out. Next week will be wild.
@@masterchabla9872 With his army he's top A ranks, without it he's low A ranks. Woo Jin-chul is top A rank and could give him a run for his money right now
Solo Leveling story is completed neatly within 8 light novels. It was refreshing to see a story do what it does best and not run on for the sake of more money or whatever
All my estimation based on the Anime, Manhwa, and Novel: Kim Chul is Mid-A rank, Jin Woo and Igris are both High-A. Jinwoo enters the Gate at level 51. The Shadows do level up, but they increase in strength much slower than Jinwoo himself. By the end of this Gate Jinwoo will be significantly stronger than Igris.
A fight between two S ranks can level a city. That's why they are essentially above the law because the law can't do anything to them. And yes, Ice Elves are sadistic af and they take great pleasure in tormenting those they kill.
the thing about solo leveling. is that it is a power fantasy that knows its niche, knows what the audience want, gives us what we want, and not overly exerting into themes that it is not good at. it's not perfect, it has flaws, there are rooms for improvements, but it got the job done, and did it RIGHT.
Agreed. I enjoyed the novels for what they were. The anime has some flaws, so while I still enjoy it, I think it is one of the most overrated anime I’ve watched.
Jinwoo and Igris at this exact moment are A rank but on different levels. If A rank is a range from 1-10, Jinwoo right now is 6.5 and Igris is like 7.5
I'm not good with faces, from birth till now (40+ f) So when my mum showed up at my kindergarten (3-6 years old Germany) with a duyed perm, I did not recognise her at first..... So with his changing style, I can understand this confusion... 🤔😅🤣😂🙂
Seeing this episode and the next episode in theater last month was really something else. It's nice to see the episode again and I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season from episode 3 onward.
I was waiting for this video looking forward to your reaction as I really enjoyed your season 1 reactions. Also will you be Apothecary diaries season 2 on TH-cam when it drops as you watched Season 1 on Twitch?
The "new girl" isn't new at all... she appeared 3 times in season 1... the was one of the girls training at the white tiger guild's gym... She was one of the 3 girls going to a cafe speaking about the blond S rank girls (all of them from the white tigers) And i did forget her third appearance but i do remember seeing her one other time... which is why i thought she would come into play eventually...
I took my daughter to see this in the cinema as part of the movie. It was phenomenonal on the big screen, especially the music and battles! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 In dub btw 🤩 Amazing!!!!
18:32 "I don't know who this new girl is, but I [don't] like her." Park Hee-Jin was one of the trio of girls who met at the coffee shop - her two friends recently joined the Hunter's Guild and were talking about how cool Cha Hae-In was. 26:48 "What rank is Egris?" I think Egris would be considered a high A-rank (possibly on par with Woo Jin-Chul, the head of the Surveillance Team).
the op made me a tiny bit worried about what was going to be covered and the pacing...then I watched the episode and went : nope they know what they are doing....
You can't always re-a-wa*k ..... ohhhh mmmyy! BTW, those that read the manga knows that scene when Jinwoo and Baek Yoon-Ho (white tiger guild master.) ... their one side interaction....
You're a bit off on the ending of S1. He finished the Job Change quest and became the Shadow Monarch. He had to get back home to sleep afterwards as he had Jinah's parent-teacher conference the next day.
yes its on purpose....the system is making him relive the shadow monarchs life so his body gets stronger and he gets the same shadow army the previous monarch had...
I get the impression that most monsters after a dungeon break are just, generally destructive for the sake of being destructive. A few might be focused on survival. But being in a world where those ice elves can just break into your local neighborhood? I'm getting 'sneak into random homes just to torment the residents brutally' vibes from them. Just give me the big dumb angry golem instead if I gotta be there.

He only ditches the weaker group after he sees bear claws on the trees after separating, presuming the weaker group dead and since turning back might lead to more casualties, he moves on but adding those details would have made Jinwoo look like bad so both Manhwa and Anime removed it and went with making him a typical jerk character.
Just to summarize a lot of the things everyone might be saying (sorry, wanna condense things, at least when it comes to what the main questions were):
First, S1 ended as Jinwoo left his job change assignment (for Shadow Monarch), and soon after, maybe the next day, or just a few days later (I think in the other sources he got home late, which was why it was midafternoon when his sis called), he had to go that teacher meeting.
(fun fact: in this episode sung jin woo is only at high A-rank level or low S-rank level)
Peak is back🎉🎉🎉 next episode will be much better as i already watched the movie
Unfortunately if you saw the movie, you'll be waiting until the THIRD episode for new stuff. We got to see the first two eps during the movie which is the entirety of the Red Gate Arc. I saw it as well so unfortunately these first 2 weeks will just be repeats for us. Still awesome though obviously.
👀
@@ptsebago1yeah but the new opening and ending with paired animation was not and waiting for that with the full first episode was so worth it, even if I saw the main content of the first two already because of the recap movie.
@@ptsebago1 I think it was worth watching in the cinemas for the webtoons/novels fans....
Season 2 ep. 1-2 are one of my my favouritys...
right now, jin woo is around high A class rank. the top of a class rank for sure
@ I think this is also correct. He’d probably be only able to fight low ranking S ranks though.
What 😮😮
actually it isn't.
Having a crush on Jinwoo is so valid 🤣
😂
i am in love with his delivery of "Get out here." when he summons his army to fight the bears! like someone else said, everyone has a crush on Jinwoo
Solo Leveling was my favorite anime in 2024, and i have high hopes for season 2
great reaction as always; your excitement is contagious!
24:25 As that OST continues to play in the background behind the action scene I can see a tear forming in your eye!
the OST for the ice bear fight is called SHADOWBORN btw if you wanted to check it out. theres an MV very similar to how Dark Aria was released
Solo leveling is the only anime where the summoned creatures have their own fan bases, and my favorite is yet ti show up yet🤣🤣
This episode was on point, i hope they keep this quality for the rest of the season because its going to be more insane........
Sung drip wu is real baby
They got their own personality too 🤣🤣
@sushi-void my favorite is the glazer.... my glorious king...if you know what I mean😏
@@hashem1990rko awwwwa yeah! 😂 boy I wonder how they gonna do that 🤣🤣
Jin Woo, btw, stayed in the woods.
Friendly reminder(especially for the ones that did NOT watch the recap movie, which included episodes 1 and 2 from season 2):
Season 1 ended with the Arise moment of Igris and Jin.
During that episode his sister mentions that Jin did not come home even though she had prepared something to eat and if he would remember about the school thingy.
Season 2 starts with Jin being asleep a few hours after the Igris stuff and being kinda late for the school stuff of his sister.
"I am not trapped here with you. YOU are trapped here with me!" Jin woo
20:38 reawanked is what I do after seeing Jinwoo 🤤🤤🤤
PEAK LEVELING
29:25 He's about low to mid A rank at the start of the red gate.
He's high A rank if you're including his shadows, which there's no reason not to, theyre part of him.
Sung Drip Woo in da house! 😉
Next week episode gonna be a banger! 🤐
And here we go again. A season full of Luke asking question and get answers a second after. 🤣 Question counter : 3
15:12 "He is happy and proud to be a DICKHEAD" ahhahaha im dying laughinng on the floor im ded ded jeeesus bro
The full song playing during the fight at 26:00 is out on Hiroyuki Sawano's youtube channel, It's called "Shadowborn".
I can't imagine the reaction to the Grand-Marshal🔥
Удивительно как студия решила начать новый сезон с козырей. А именно музыка 24:25. В первый раз у меня были мурашки в 6 серии первого сезона Solo Levelin. А здесь сразу в первой же серии
6:55 finally someone who realizes that Jinwoo is not able to take on Dongsoo, people be like „oh nah Dongsoo lucky there‘s a Red Gate“ n stuff like that
6:16 well yeah you got Junichi Suwabe (Sukana's va) and Shirogane's/President's va from Love is war right there lol
The hype is strong in this one... ! XD
Never seen Luke this excited!
No, the scene with the car you remembered was the end of episode 10 😂😂😂 When he traveled to a forest to open the gate for the job-change quest. The episode 12 ended with him summoning the shadow army and awakening Igris. You should really have watched a recap if you forget 50% >.
If you remember, the baldy with the sunglasses is the younger brother of that one guy who led the party Jinwoo killed when he met Jinho
Really hoping you copied and pasted all that... Having the time to type all that is quite concerning. Not to mention, it's a bit excessive.
Jinwoo's VA is spot on perfect.
This is why everyone likes solo leveling
action at its very peak
My man Jinwoo got the most drip in all of anime
Currently in the middle of watching your S1 reaction and you were also asking about the red gate xD Except it didn't explain it yet haha
Sung Jinwoo ❌
Sung 'Chin'woo ✅
04:23 He is using Almighty
Jin woo is about top A rank rn
Only whith this armee but whithout is only a good b rank
@@masterchabla9872 With his army he's top A ranks, without it he's low A ranks. Woo Jin-chul is top A rank and could give him a run for his money right now
@@Veradux13 at this point though, Igris should be able to solo woo jin chul i would reckon
15:13 i haven't watched your videos in a bit, i forgot how much i liked your reactions 😂
Im completely forget igris tittle as Igres the red something, the fact that you still remember is awesome 😂
dang Luke cooking on this one.
remember Jinwoo saying the system wants him alive for something.
I love how he thought Jinwoo was the leader, he says hes an E Rank but his presence is of an A rank or above xD
Yeah, Kim Chul by instinct appropriately thought of Jin Woo as the other team's leader.
This season will epic as hell. Jinwoo will fight with tusk in this season. OMG i can't wait!
Solo Leveling story is completed neatly within 8 light novels. It was refreshing to see a story do what it does best and not run on for the sake of more money or whatever
Solo Leveling S1 is legit just the settup for the series. this is where is starts
Igris continues to be best girl
17:00 he is gonna be one of the cutest soon
I’ve read all of solo leveling can’t wait for ep 2 it’s gonna be so lit
All my estimation based on the Anime, Manhwa, and Novel:
Kim Chul is Mid-A rank, Jin Woo and Igris are both High-A. Jinwoo enters the Gate at level 51. The Shadows do level up, but they increase in strength much slower than Jinwoo himself. By the end of this Gate Jinwoo will be significantly stronger than Igris.
You not ready for next episode will be peak
Solo Leveling is back! Yeaaaah!!!🔥🔥🔥🤩
Jinwoo and Igris at this exact moment are A rank but on different levels. If A rank is a range from 1-10, Jinwoo right now is 6.5 and Igris is like 7.5
4:31 Yes it is! Man back then I was 100% Luke awakened psychic abilities!😅
Igris is insane... But wait until you meet Beru and Bellion 👀
Bellion 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
The tally this episode is 3 (no, who is he, what is a red gate)
Also Luke appears to follow Jinwhoo's command of "Arise"
ALONE GRINDING is my favorite anime
😂😂
Solitude on getting better is the best anime
Jinwoo is not a monster he is what the world needed, hes like batman lol
i forgot how much you loved Solo Leveling lol
Nah not every reaction youtuber I know simping for Jinwoo
7:45 it was said in the first ep of s1 that military weapons have no effect on dungeon monsters, they probaly already thought about nuking it.😂
I'm not good with faces, from birth till now (40+ f)
So when my mum showed up at my kindergarten (3-6 years old Germany) with a duyed perm, I did not recognise her at first.....
Igris is DA BOY! He was in the light novel. He was in the web novel. And now he is again....
The "new girl" isn't new at all... she appeared 3 times in season 1...
the was one of the girls training at the white tiger guild's gym...
She was one of the 3 girls going to a cafe speaking about the blond S rank girls (all of them from the white tigers)
And i did forget her third appearance but i do remember seeing her one other time... which is why i thought she would come into play eventually...
I took my daughter to see this in the cinema as part of the movie. It was phenomenonal on the big screen, especially the music and battles! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
In dub btw 🤩 Amazing!!!!
18:32 "I don't know who this new girl is, but I [don't] like her."
Park Hee-Jin was one of the trio of girls who met at the coffee shop - her two friends recently joined the Hunter's Guild and were talking about how cool Cha Hae-In was.
26:48 "What rank is Egris?"
I think Egris would be considered a high A-rank (possibly on par with Woo Jin-Chul, the head of the Surveillance Team).
Yes... We don't like her!! (We have to keep it that way to be safe from the anime gods)
the op made me a tiny bit worried about what was going to be covered and the pacing...then I watched the episode and went : nope they know what they are doing....
ive already seen the following episode due to a theatrical release a month ago, but i will say, be excited
It was awesome on a big screen
You can't always re-a-wa*k ..... ohhhh mmmyy!
BTW, those that read the manga knows that scene when Jinwoo and Baek Yoon-Ho (white tiger guild master.) ... their one side interaction....
Just want to say, the whole story is more than you thought😄
You're a bit off on the ending of S1. He finished the Job Change quest and became the Shadow Monarch. He had to get back home to sleep afterwards as he had Jinah's parent-teacher conference the next day.
I CQNT STOP LAUGHING 28:51
I agree, this was kinda funny 😂😂😂 like someone activating a soundboard meme
Very good episode, introduction for what is to come, Great animation, action and the final song in the fight top 🔥
In manhwa they show you where he goes to the barbers right before the meeting
14:56 you are so funny i literally can't stop laughing😂😂😂😂
yes its on purpose....the system is making him relive the shadow monarchs life so his body gets stronger and he gets the same shadow army the previous monarch had...
