He did get shot, but his friends and Classmates came out and told the real story back in 2013... Its old news... But for some odd reason, people just believe this BS... smh
Mike Harkins the only part of this that isn’t true is the fact that he wasn’t just dropping off a friend, he would go into Detroit a lot, due to him being a big drug user. Everything else about it is true.

@@wardenstone6021 The part of the story that bothers me the most is the arrest and sentencing of his supposed 15 year old friend that shot him... There is ZERO evidence anyone has ever been arrested for this shooting. Maybe you do not know law or Michigan law, but Im studying Law now and my mom is an Attorney. You cannot seal attempted murder charges. The court can censor his name, but attempted murder warrants, arrests, charges, sentencing, ect would all be public court records. The 2nd problem is the sentencing.. Ross claims the kid showed up in a purple pimp suit with a top hat and got 35 years.. Again, this is not consistent with US Law, unless he was charged as an Adult, which there would be no censorship at all, especially now that the kid is like 30. Max sentence for Attempted murder of a Juvenile charged as a Juvenile in Juvenile court is 20 years. The absolute max. If there were additional charges, they would run concurrent with the 20 year sentence and would be separate charges. In a case like this, there is no way a minor would not get a plea deal of some sort in Juvenile court. And again, a 35 year sentence is impossible. Ross's story just doesnt make sense. I'd be much more confident in the story if there was ANY type of record to corroborate it.

This video speaks on so many levels with me only for the fact that he survived what was a tragedy. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of thirteen and went in for surgery because the tumor was literally tearing my brain in half. The brain surgeon said i was lucky cause the tumor wasn't cancerous and I haven't had any really serious issues that you normally have with a tumor but, it's been there since i was two. They said I shouldn't be alive. I spent my second semester recovering so i didn't go to school much. By summer time I was able to go to summer school and complete 9th grade and now I look back at how hard it was for me and now I thank those hard times for molding into the man I am today.

I came across your video, I’ve watched this kid tell his story before. While watching your video, your dad said something around 7 min mark “it wasn’t his time, he wasn’t wanted yet, it just wasn’t his time”, and holy water I started to cry. My daughters boyfriend 7 months ago came to her apartment with a gun to kill her, she had just called it off 3 days prior with him, they dated for about 2 years, her first ever boyfriend/relationship. When he came into her apt my daughter and her friend (a male co worker) were in there, about to head out to work. My daughters boyfriend pulled out his gun and shot my daughters friend 4 times, then turned the gun toward her, she was able to knock him into the hallway which gave her the seconds she needed to run out the apt, he shot at 2 times. A neighbor lady let my daughter in her home while the bf drove off in my daughters car. Now my daughter was worried about her friend so her and the lady (who was a nurse) ran back over to help her friend, sadly he had died. While they were back in the apt my daughter bf came back to finish my daughter off, the neighbor lady locked herself in the bathroom, my daughter jumped out her back bedroom window as he shot it out, then shot at her head, which grazed the top of her head, at that point she dropped to the ground, on her back, she pleaded with her boyfriend not to kill her, as he stood above her pointing the gun at her head she prayed to god, she closed her eyes, she didn’t want to die scared, and then he pulled the trigger. She laid there for seconds realizing that the gun was out of bullets, she saw her bf throw the gun in the bushes and run off. .. Her friend who died, he was a student at the Christian college and was about to leave for a missionary assignment, he wanted to be a Preacher. I found out after all of this that her friend was who helped her realize she needed to get out of the relationship she was in, her boyfriend was very abusive, she hid it away from her family, and helped her get back into her faith and her relationship with god. When I got the call there had been a shooting at my daughters apartment, I was told one deceased and one injured, and that they believed my daughter was who had died. That 15 minute drive to her apt was the most heart wrenching pain I’d ever felt, I wouldn’t wish that feeling on an enemy. When I got there my other daughter came running out to me, letting me know her sister, my daughter was alive. In that second I was able to breathe relief yet in the same I felt such heartache for the young man who died. He saved my daughters life, had he not been in the home, had he not stayed in the home for her, had he just walked out the apt, my daughter would be dead, he was my daughters angel, he was an amazing young man, who will be missed so very much. It’s taken my daughter a bit to open and talk about what happened in her relationship and what happened to her that day in January, she is a fighter, she fought for her life, I am so thankful she is still here with us..

Ross, in my opinion, is a disgrace to survivors for lying like this... I came here from the Joyner Lucas song and am so relieved that he actually survived. I don't need to say how hellishly horrible this story is. Joyner's rap was so descriptive and heart breaking, but hearing it from him is even more painful. It's obvious that this world is cruel, but I just want to say I'm happy he made it through this

he's not the only one with the story 14 years ago when I was 8 years old I was riding my bike with my step-brother when I was crossing the street by the way i was wearing a helmet that's the thing that saved my life I was hit by a blue Dodge pickup truck drug me underneath the truck 65 feet the truck destroyed me it broke both halves of my ribs when I tripped over my ribcage it the tire went over my Face because the helmet it didn't crush me I have right now something in my eye right it's called an angel is made out of metal and it will never come out of my Skull I broke my femur my pelvis I broke a lot more than that and I was only in the hospital for 7 days which felt like three years it wasn't even that long I was only awake for like 3 days for the days I was in ICU 73 days each day felt like a year but I lived
So.. Not to try and compare stories, just to share mine - I was over at a "friends" house one day just hanging out. His parents weren't home and we had just gotten off of school. I remember when I was sitting at his couch in the living room, he went to his bedroom to grab "something" Moments later he returned with a gun in his hand. I thought, "oh neat, he's gonna show me a gun" that was until he pointed it at me.. I at that point had stood up from the couch as he continued to point it at me. He told me to sit down *I did not* - Instead I stupidly remarked, "That things not loaded" and he fires a live round past my head on the right... Then the devil himself possessed me to follow up with, "You just shot your only round" and he fires another round past my head this time on the left.. The moment the second bullet was shot I instinctively ducked down and tackled him as hard as I could into the ground. Rest of the story is I pretty much beat him bloody, partly with the gun he used, mostly with my fists. Then I grabbed my stuff, left and never saw him or spoke to anyone that knew him ever again
I think Jesus was with me yesterday, I was walking home from the pool and I came to the busy street and pushed the Button to cross. I was in the ambulance and they looked shocked, my clothes were torn to shit but I had nothing but a scratch on my shoulder. Went to the hospital I was fine and went back to school the next day.

I came across your video, I’ve watched this kid tell his story before. While watching your video, your dad said something around 7 min mark “it wasn’t his time, he wasn’t wanted yet, it just wasn’t his time”, and holy water I started to cry. My daughters boyfriend 7 months ago came to her apartment with a gun to kill her, she had just called it off 3 days prior with him, they dated for about 2 years, her first ever boyfriend/relationship. When he came into her apt my daughter and her friend (a male co worker) were in there, about to head out to work. My daughters boyfriend pulled out his gun and shot my daughters friend 4 times, then turned the gun toward her, she was able to knock him into the hallway which gave her the seconds she needed to run out the apt, he shot at 2 times. A neighbor lady let my daughter in her home while the bf drove off in my daughters car. Now my daughter was worried about her friend so her and the lady (who was a nurse) ran back over to help her friend, sadly he had died. While they were back in the apt my daughter bf came back to finish my daughter off, the neighbor lady locked herself in the bathroom, my daughter jumped out her back bedroom window as he shot it out, then shot at her head, which grazed the top of her head, at that point she dropped to the ground, on her back, she pleaded with her boyfriend not to kill her, as he stood above her pointing the gun at her head she prayed to god, she closed her eyes, she didn’t want to die scared, and then he pulled the trigger. She laid there for seconds realizing that the gun was out of bullets, she saw her bf throw the gun in the bushes and run off. .. Her friend who died, he was a student at the Christian college and was about to leave for a missionary assignment, he wanted to be a Preacher. I found out after all of this that her friend was who helped her realize she needed to get out of the relationship she was in, her boyfriend was very abusive, she hid it away from her family, and helped her get back into her faith and her relationship with god.
When I got the call there had been a shooting at my daughters apartment, I was told one deceased and one injured, and that they believed my daughter was who had died. That 15 minute drive to her apt was the most heart wrenching pain I’d ever felt, I wouldn’t wish that feeling on an enemy. When I got there my other daughter came running out to me, letting me know her sister, my daughter was alive. In that second I was able to breathe relief yet in the same I felt such heartache for the young man who died. He saved my daughters life, had he not been in the home, had he not stayed in the home for her, had he just walked out the apt, my daughter would be dead, he was my daughters angel, he was an amazing young man, who will be missed so very much. It’s taken my daughter a bit to open and talk about what happened in her relationship and what happened to her that day in January, she is a fighter, she fought for her life, I am so thankful she is still here with us..

he's not the only one with the story 14 years ago when I was 8 years old I was riding my bike with my step-brother when I was crossing the street by the way i was wearing a helmet that's the thing that saved my life I was hit by a blue Dodge pickup truck drug me underneath the truck 65 feet the truck destroyed me it broke both halves of my ribs when I tripped over my ribcage it the tire went over my Face because the helmet it didn't crush me I have right now something in my eye right it's called an angel is made out of metal and it will never come out of my Skull I broke my femur my pelvis I broke a lot more than that and I was only in the hospital for 7 days which felt like three years it wasn't even that long I was only awake for like 3 days for the days I was in ICU 73 days each day felt like a year but I lived
So.. Not to try and compare stories, just to share mine - I was over at a "friends" house one day just hanging out. His parents weren't home and we had just gotten off of school. I remember when I was sitting at his couch in the living room, he went to his bedroom to grab "something" Moments later he returned with a gun in his hand. I thought, "oh neat, he's gonna show me a gun" that was until he pointed it at me.. I at that point had stood up from the couch as he continued to point it at me. He told me to sit down *I did not* - Instead I stupidly remarked, "That things not loaded" and he fires a live round past my head on the right... Then the devil himself possessed me to follow up with, "You just shot your only round" and he fires another round past my head this time on the left.. The moment the second bullet was shot I instinctively ducked down and tackled him as hard as I could into the ground. Rest of the story is I pretty much beat him bloody, partly with the gun he used, mostly with my fists. Then I grabbed my stuff, left and never saw him or spoke to anyone that knew him ever again
