Imagine her husband maintaining her mistress for the past 25 years with the knowledge of his son. Husband made her wife and son made her mother just a nanny in the family. So Simon married her so he can freely roam the world with his mistress; he impregnated her so that she will remain at home taking care of the son whereas he can have all the time for his mistress without the wife suspecting that his companion outside of the house is his mistress. Reminiscing, my ass. it is never too late and it was good of her to at last take charge of her life and have free time for herself, too. Most men think that being housewife or homestay mom is easy. Being a housewife is also a profession, expending time and resources and more.
She said she walked away fast enough. 😂 She is 3/4 century yr old. Wasted all her life for an ingrates called family. Luckily, she’s still healthy and has money to spend her days away. 😊
The teaching of this story is that woman has no worth and recognition if she is only a houswife. This is most unapriciated job in whole range of professions. So, no matter how much money your spouse has, don't hang yourself on that and become a lifeless nanny. Not interesting at all. Why wouldn't she hire a servant or two and also have own hobbies and free time for herself? Learning piano, travel, meet friends - everything she did after divorce? That is hard to understand. It's actually foolish choice to live a life that way, only serving others who then treat your care and love like trash.
