Most brands offer anamorphic lenses for Canon EF mount so you'll need to get an EF to EF-M adapter.

@@JorisHermans niet wil je zeggen? Niet te pietlullig kijken.. 16mm is de perfecte te groothoek,en de cinebloom filters geven exact dezelfde zachte tint...
Moet je even verdiepen in what "Anamorphic" is. Een groothoek met cinebloom komt zelfs niet in de buurt...
@@JorisHermans nee je begrijpt denk niet wat ik bedoel.... tuurlijk is het een groot verschil in format.. ik heb het over het uiterlijk kwa cinematografie. En dat mensen die zich geen anamorphic lens kunnen veroorloven. . Hetzelfde uiterlijk kunnen creëren door een groothoek lens te gebruiken,en er een defusion filter te gebruiken.. ik heb het niet over de "de squeeze" ik heb het enkel over de zachtere look die anamorphic lenzen hebben,en de highlights op die typische manier doorbloeden en zo "cinematic " maken... alles wat ik zeg is geen knauw naar je video enz😂 geen reden om zo defensief te zijn... jij weet net als ik,..als je een stukje cinematografie wil doen zonder anamorphic lens,maar toch een zelfde look wil hebben... 16mm,een goeie cinematic filter,en in post de typische zwarte balken plaats... het verschil zo groot niet is

I understand the original practical need for an anamorphic lens for film, but why mess up your footage with all the irregularities when there are spherical lenses that are simply stunning? If you want the "anamorphic look" or your client wants it, then shoot with an anamorphic lens, of course. But, in my opinion, a high quality spherical lens shoots too good of an image to not use. After all, the human eye is spherical.
Our eyes are equivalent to 50 mm. But only for one eye. With an anamorphic lens it simulates the field view of two eyes.
