Well done! A great v8 transplant, and a very informative video....nice job, mate. I converted an articulated massey 1200 to v8 power 13 years ago,and it transformed it.....made a huge difference when towing a loaded dump trailer and sounded awesome too.......good luck with your fergie, and well done again!
Thanks for the comment Russiancartester, It's not mine, I just took the video, but I am making an articulated Grey Fergie with Ford Flathead V8 engine. Stay tuned for video of that in a month or two or just Subscribe to the channel and it will let you know when things come up.
Hi Dauntless, Depends where you are ? Maates club is planning a tractor trek / pull early next year in the Wattagan mountains of NSW AU and there will definitely be Fergies at that. Again, depends where you are.
Awesome. How do you get the engine and the tranny to work together? Probably simple but I am not mechanical. a converter, right? If so, did you make it or buy it? thanks Gary
Can you give me any info on where I can see Grey Fergies doing tractor pulling? It's something I'd like to do with mine, it's all original though of course
Why don't you just put on a set of standard Holden V8 extractors and get rid of the organ pipes! A standard 4 barrel intake manifold with a 4 barrel carbie (standard GM Rochester is fine) will improve engine efficiency too.

I agree you should bring the pipes down and out as you suggest in the video. Lovely tractor thanks for posting
Very formidable restoration job on this Coventry-built Fergie. The fitment of the Holden V8 looks and sounds great as well!
lol did anyone else notice the little farmall spinning in the background :D
