Excellent video as always Jeremy, thanks for taking the time to showcase our new Wheel Cleaner+! We're proud of this formula and the results it produces! Can't wait to see you put the rest of our line up through the ringer.
“Always be careful smelling chemicals…” HA HA, that was great. Don’t think any of us home dwelling detailers ever read an MSDS sheet on car care products! Thx for another great laugh J-Man! Nice to see silver Tesla wheels, all the OEMs have gone gray/black on wheels. Glad to see you were not involved in the great Cerakote debate / drama. Keep up the good work!
Just stopping by to tell you just how much I enjoy your videos brother! They’re really relaxing for me to watch for some reason, and I’m also always learning a lot while actually seeing the real testing on some of these products! Thanks a lot buddy…you deserve a lot more viewers
Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. I am glad you like the channel. I try to keep it fun and post as often as I can. I have a busy life and this is fun for me to do.
You left out the best wheel cleaner of them all. Koch Chemie Magic Wheel Cleaner with iron remover is the King of wheel cleaners. Far better than Brake Buster which is cheaper but does not clean dirty wheels without a lot of scrubbing.
I love ethos products. I used their graphene v2.0 on my car it’s been a year and still amazing. Have kept it up with ethos resist and smells great, shine is amazing cleaning it’s easier too
Ethos products are among the best for sure. They don’t have a ton of stuff, but what they have is top notch. IMO foam party is the best soap on the market (better than adam’s). It is so highly concentrated that .5-1oz in a foam cannon gets great foam with really good cleaning for a pH balanced foam. The APC is not as strong as something like super clean (which really isn’t an apc), but is still the best balance of dilutability, smell, and most importantly safety, on the market. Others are safe and strong, but smell gnarly. Very few brands seem to have all three aspects. This wheel clean/iron remover was next on my list to try and you just solidified it. Overall, ethos products are super effective, easy to use, and very economical in the long run. I’m glad you are talking about their products because not many do for some reason.
Would like to see you review some Jax Wax products. They have similar a wheel cleaner with iron remover. They are a little on the pricey side but I enjoy using their prodcuts.
I'm currently using the armour but will give this a try.. I like the ethos lineup. Also, I'm not a fan of the curved handle tire whoolies.. my wrist always feels awkward..
I agree. The thing that makes this a extra nice is that reasonably good smell for an iron remover. I wasn’t able to like the brushes as much as I hoped. At least not yet. Thanks for watching
I usually have to go stronger on my satin finish wheels to get all the buildup off. Brake Buster just doesn't cut it. So, I usually hit them with Meguiars Wheel Brightener every few washes. For tires, again, Brake Buster doesn't work that well on my Michelin tires. Not sure if it's the compound but, Brake Buster struggles on those tires. With Brake Buster or most other APC that I've used, I get a lot of grime that transfers and sticks to the bristles of my tire brush. This then just doesn't help in cleaning the tires as now I'm just pushing grease around. I'm still sticking to my all time favorite tire cleaner Eagle One All Wheel and Tire Cleaner (formally AtoZ Wheel and Tire). I don't have issues with grime sticking to the bristles when I use Eagle One. Unfortunately, they stopped selling the larger container years ago. I just ordered a gallon of Adam's Tire and Rubber cleaner. I hope that it can work as well or better than the Eagle One. Keep it up, I really enjoy your videos.
I used to get the eagle one and loved it, also didn’t leave the tires looking chalky after like the brake buster has. They also used to sell a wash and wax that actually left excellent long lasting beading no other soap that I’ve used has ever come close, they usually don’t bead up the water and if they do it’s gone after a good rain here.
Ethos products are absolutely fantastic! Honestly my overall favorite brand to use on my own cars. I was upset in 2020 as a mobile operation they wouldn't sell me their Pro Line without a brick and mortor location besides my home. I had experience installing Xpel Ceramic Coatings for a local shop owner but the shop owner wasn't allowed to add a competive lineup to the keep his Xpel contract intact. I installed several of their Ethos Graphene Matrix V1 coatings with ease. Absolutely destroyed Xpels finicky and tiresome install process. I've since switched to installing Mckees 37 10 Year Graphene coatings due to the low $/oz. pricing they offer to anyone. I just self warranty the product and work inhouse by charging a fair market price and providing bi-weekly maintenance and annual rejuvination in my pricing models.
The Ethos cleaner is a sleeper product in my opinion. I have been using this for years and the smell is the biggest surprise. The bottles flat out suck as my sprayer broke and leaked. For the areas behind the spokes you have to get a bent brush and agitate as this is a ph neutral product. It will clean it but it does take an extra few minutes per wheel.
We have one of these as well! Wheel Cleaner+ is better used for high performance vehicles where brake dust is a big issue. Otherwise TOTAL Wheel and Tire is a 2-in-1 that will do the job very well.
For foaming I would've rated Ethos on the scale of three. I am accustom to using Brakebuster which lathers the entire wheel out of my handy dandy IK foam pump sprayer. I was quite impressed with the grime disappearing in your barrels though! Would I buy it, for sure. As for the Blaster Sidekick, I swear they wear teasing a battery operated unit. Working in a single car garage I found it cumbersome to use my 8HP unit with it's stiff hose.
Our TOTAL Wheel and Tire cleaner is a better comparison to Brake Buster as it is alkaline based and foams much better than is possible with an iron removing cleaner.
Love your videos. I bought 2 gallons. Like ethos wheel cleaner. Also testing koch chemie mwc love it but cost more than ethos. Have you tried koch chemie mwc,? What do you think?
My recommendation is to buy P&S brake buster as it's reasonably priced. Then very lightly spritz with a tried and tested iron remover like Gyeon Iron. Only a small amount then work it in. Because you've used mainly Brake Buster, you only need a small amount of iron remover, thus saving a lot of money over the long-term.
TOTAL Wheel and Tire will be even more economical but doesnt feature the iron dissolving characteristics. Unfortunately the raw materials required to make a product like this are pricey so there is no way getting around a steeper price tag.
@ethoscarcare I've honestly not looked into Ethos prices yet as I've still got load of product left to go through. I'll keep an eye out. it seems like a good brand, but I will say that I'm happy with my killer wheel/tyre and iron removing was system I've got going on. It works out very cheaply. More often than not, I'll just pour some Carpro reset into my wheel wash bucket as this is good enough to remove everything most of the time. I try to reduce the amount of wheel specific cleaners too often as my wheels are ceramic coated and strong wheel cleaners even if they are PH neutral can break down the coating. Hence why they are often used in torcher testing ceramic coatings to failure on TH-cam. I tend to really reduce the heavy wheel and tyre cleaners to around 1:5 is a good spot for my conditions when I really need them.
When I dilute my brake buster into my ik foamer sprayer I add a few ounces of p&s iron buster…haven’t tried either of ethos wheel cleaners bc like you said brake buster is reasonably priced and it can be diluted and it works, but I have quite a few other ethos products and they are all great and all smell great
Looks like a decent product. For an iron removing wheel cleaner that doesn't smell terrible I am partial to either KCx Magic Wheel cleaner or NV Purge. Both work fantastic, NV Purge is cheaper too.. I lIke a lot of their products, their Snow soap is fantastic too. And any decent APC for tires is OK I generally keep Green Star and Gyeon APC on hand. Ordering DIY All clean next go round.. I have used a couple gallons of Brake Buster and have not been that impressed.
Great review. Have you tried nanoskin non acid wheel cleaner? Good value, i haven't tried it yet..Have you tried ethos ceramic wax by any chance? Thanks!
They are trying to remove the confusion & are going to start going by "KCX" soon I heard - so the mispronunciations will be a moot point soon. They will be KCX. :)
Anything that gets rid of that horrible rotten egg smell is good. If you don't let everything get too bad with dirt and muck, then this stuff should be great.
Excellent video as always Jeremy, thanks for taking the time to showcase our new Wheel Cleaner+! We're proud of this formula and the results it produces! Can't wait to see you put the rest of our line up through the ringer.
I always appreciate the entertainment factor of your videos Jeremy. Keep up the awesome work.
Thanks a lot.

Haha. Thankfully MOST* chemicals are generally harmless but we definitely recommend being cautious as always!
Thanks. Yeah I try to stay out of the BS.

Yeah. They make some good stuff. Been enjoying using it.

We appreciate the support! Glad to hear you've been enjoying the products.
Sonax Beast has iron remover as well and doesn't smell bad. It's also not too expensive.
Furies + BB for the foamies on maintenence. Now i use ADS for the dirties. Used Hyperclean before ADS, that was good stuff too. No complaints.
Thanks for sharing

That impression @ 10:38 "Man you don't need any foam on there"
Hahaha. I like making myself laugh when I am doing these. Try to keep it fun. Thanks.

im sure youve tried it, although its not a 2 in 1, is the adams iron remover. that stuff smells amazing.
Will have to give it a try.

Always killin it Jeremy…. This fat dab goes out too you sir. 💨💨💨 great video.
Thank you. I appreciate it
I gotta have wheel and tire. It is to time consuming to have 2 chemicals. Great video man.
I know what you mean. Sometimes it just comes down to what works the best in the least amount of time and effort. Thanks for watching

Love your videos. I bought 2 gallons. Like ethos wheel cleaner. Also testing koch chemie mwc love it but cost more than ethos. Have you tried koch chemie mwc,? What do you think?
Yes I did try it. It’s a good iron remover but did not cut through the grime like I had hoped.
Great video as always
Thanks

Give Wheel Cleaner+ a try, we think you'll be impressed!
What is the size of the dispenser on your Koch Chemie gallon ? Not sure what to buy. Thanks.
That is right about those new brush from them
I used on for 1 month and it broke it😭😭
Bummer. Sorry to hear that.
What color are the walls in your garage ?
Great review. Have you tried nanoskin non acid wheel cleaner? Good value, i haven't tried it yet..Have you tried ethos ceramic wax by any chance? Thanks!
I have not tried nano skin non acid. I am playing around with a few other Ethos products and will have some vids coming soon. Thanks for watching
Might need to give this a try!
Worth a try for sure. Let me know if you do and how you like it.
Alien Magic WRATH is cherry scented
What does it smell like?
They are trying to remove the confusion & are going to start going by "KCX" soon I heard - so the mispronunciations will be a moot point soon. They will be KCX. :)
Hahaha. That good because nobody really cares what it actually called. Well some do just not me. Thanks for watching
Adam's has both Adam's Wheel & Tire Cleaner and Adam's Wheel Cleaner. Adam's Wheel Cleaner has the iron remover in it.
Good to know. I have not used Adam’s wheel cleaner with iron remover in it.
Anything that gets rid of that horrible rotten egg smell is good. If you don't let everything get too bad with dirt and muck, then this stuff should be great.
Yes. That rotten smell is normally rough. They put some effort into fixing it and it makes a huge difference.
You look lean homie....
Thanks. I appreciate it. Feeling amazing too.
Thanks buddy. Appreciated

There he is. Thanks man.
