mate i love your videos, always learn new and simple thing that make big difference.if you could make a video on shoulder training i hardly get that pump that will b very helpful..thanks mate.keep up the good work
Great video! One question: At the end, Ben is talking about chest/pec contraction in the context of a chest workout. This confused me a bit. Was this bit perhaps erroneously pasted on from a different video? Can someone enlighten me what the reference to chest workout at 8:20 was? Thanks
Hey...I like him a lot, but... he should have done this with less weight, so that the guy could do more than 2 or 3 complete reps with full ROM....but hey....so much for doing things right....
why depress shoulders? the elbow is a hinge joint so scapular position does not change tricep length. So by allowing your traps to elevate you eliminate energy leak (wasting energy) from the scapular depressors (T4, serratus, pec minor). This allows you to use all energy on tricep isolation. Also, retract shoulders and press your triceps against the lats to get the max contraction and bring out the peak (since triceps are a biarticulate muscle)
Where I have been all this time, Why is it now that I found this channel. Poor me 😩..im lack for triceps start now im gonna try this tips. Thanks Mr. Pakulski ur awesome 💪🏻💪🏻
Man it would be so dope to train with Ben. Hes got those queues for each motion on lock. Textbook way to train your brain as well as your body. I'm obsessed with MI40 now!!! Great video Ben!
Just so you know, the medial head of the tricep crosses the shoulder joint and thus the tricep also functions to bring the arm toward trunk (adduction)/hyperextension...
Thank you for all your content I learn something almost everyday because of your videos. As I prepare for my first show this content greatly helps me. Thanks again
+Richard “Lariatas” Bright Because he is using two ropes to do the pulldown, if he was standing up the weight stack would hit the bottom before his triceps became fully lengthened. If he was only using one rope he would probably be able to do it standing up.
i use to have monster triceps as a natural, but ever since using gear my lats grow like crazy and restrict moving my arms straight down. now they seem to be lacking because i move my arms outwards
Hey ben need your advice, iv been out of the loop of working out, i help this huy move his tfuvk off the road, and man i was short of breath and everything else. Any tips to getting back to shape safely with cardio and simply weights. Thanks mate..
help him finish those last couple reps so he can get the negative himself, especially with that weight being heavy in that isolated range. I believe you're up for getting the most work out of sets, weather it looks stupid spotting someone while on a machine or not. 👍
Hey Ben, I really like your videos and I've learned a lot. I don't know iff you regulary respond to questions that are being asked in the comment section... I was wondering iff you have a solution for me. Every time I work on my triceps I feel pain in my elbow I think I might have gone too wild on the form at some point but it doesn't seem to go away. Any idea what I could do about it? Or any exercises that I can do to still give my tricips a big workout? Thanks in advance!
Glad that I stumbled across your channel, it's definitely a cut above the standard fare on here. I just hope your trainees aren't too fragile for that doggy training treatment!
thank you for such awesome tips and info but your buddy John acts like he has no heart. All I see is him quiting on you. but your video is awesome got me amped to go hit my arms thank you Ben.
I have started doing this with the mind muscle connection and I've been getting fucking awesome triceps!!! this summer I'll have the horse shoe fucking deep
Could you actually build muscle with this kind of technique without lifting heavy? Both of them are swole af but I can’t really tell if they always trained that way... seems kind unrealistic without lifting heavy to get that buffed ?
You are doing a good job. Don't give up. You are so special and you will get super big muscles with hard work. Go to the library- read! Go to the gym -power! Go to the grave - late because you are so super healthy inside those arteries! 10/10 would watch again!
This channel deserves way more views
AthleanX (Jeff cavalier) and Ben Pukalski are the best trainers on youtube
+Abu Bruh lol... ben is like 100 times better.
+Abu Bruh Dont compare ben with the guy who tell you to do halfrep benchpress.
This is freaking great! Most informative triceps video I've ever seen.
mate i love your videos, always learn new and simple thing that make big difference.if you could make a video on shoulder training i hardly get that pump that will b very helpful..thanks mate.keep up the good work
+1 for shoulders!!

Big fun of Ben. Always informative, concise, helpful. Never speak garbage. Each video shows high-level isolation.
Jesus, ive learned more in TWO videos than i have from any other coach! This is amazing!
Ben is the best coach I ever saw.
bhima555 agreed

@@dogpreacherhall8208 hes already at 30 lbs on the tricep pushdowns lol. what else should he drop to? man that size should do 50lbs ez.
The best training channel on the net
if you are a serious lifter

Jason Macm proximal instability from scapular elevation will reduce the consistancy of the tension, force output and stability on the elbow joint.
Stabilized glenohumeral joint will isolate and create higher fiber recruitment in triceps

You can see that the bodybuilder is not used to this slow and contraction based training as he starts to minimize ROM throughout the sets.
lol tru
Yep...was gonna mention but...you nailed it.
Yup it’s much harder when you contract properlu
These are the best informational videos I've seen
weight is obviously too heavy for the guy
Great series Ben that guy is lucky I would love to train with Ben Pakman he has so much knowledge
I did this twice and straight up best pump ever .. This guy is genius hands down
Man it would be so dope to train with Ben. Hes got those queues for each motion on lock. Textbook way to train your brain as well as your body. I'm obsessed with MI40 now!!! Great video Ben!
Dope 😆😆😅🤦♂️
Serious and interesting💪Thank you, guys🤘
Another Awesome video. Make sure you do this for legs! I need some mind to muscle connection for my hams and quads. Keep up the good work Ben.
Thank you Pacman these videos have helped tremendously I would normally have to pay alot to get advice this good
B-Pak!!! Always great info. I am definitely going to try this out. Keep the videos coming sir!
Awesome video. Humble and educational
Just so you know, the medial head of the tricep crosses the shoulder joint and thus the tricep also functions to bring the arm toward trunk (adduction)/hyperextension...
Just so you know, it’s the long head that assists with shoulder extension
Love your videos man. Getting the right form is very humbling though. Separates the men from the boys.
I love this video! Thank you! Going to incorporate your techniques in my tricep workout.
Ben u realy the best, ive been using ur techniques and it works very good
wow john has some horiffic medial rotation! ben get on sorting that out!
damn that was intense, great and very informative !
Ben is my favorite ! #1
*Great informative video. Thanks for sharing!*
Thank you for all your content I learn something almost everyday because of your videos. As I prepare for my first show this content greatly helps me. Thanks again
Thanks for making the video. Very helpful.
great tips for problems we´r struggling with.
you're awesome Ben. Thanks a bunch for this technique
This kid is huge and he just wrecks him with relatively light weights. The power of the mind, amazing.
gr8 vid, super helpful tips. Ben you are awesome. thanks
Great video Bpak! Shoulder would def be a help... Can't seem to figure its actual mechanics
what's the diffrence if you are on your knees or when u are standing to do rope pds ?
+Richard “Lariatas” Bright Because he is using two ropes to do the pulldown, if he was standing up the weight stack would hit the bottom before his triceps became fully lengthened. If he was only using one rope he would probably be able to do it standing up.
hm , that make sence
+Richard “Lariatas” Bright Basically increased range of motion and constant tension on the triceps, hence more muscle building.
Did you see the blood spot at 2:18, just a thought......
thanks for the tips man
so u only need cables for triceps?
This guy is always helpfull !!!
i use to have monster triceps as a natural, but ever since
using gear my lats grow like crazy and restrict moving my arms straight down.
now they seem to be lacking because i move my arms outwards
Best tips 👍🏽
Drill Sargent Ben hahaha love it!!!!
Good tips!!
Rupture on boy's left lat, can I get an evac team.
YOU DA MAN BEN... perfect!!
Awesome man
Great information. Weird ending to the video though, talking about chest instead of Triceps.
Awesome learning videos...Also where is John these days?
i always thought that a fully shortend triceps is extended and internally rotated. Why shouldn't he do that, but just extend the elbow?
How important is the squeeze throughout reps?
I wonder how much is to have Bpak as coach. It would definetely be a good investment!
I believe is 150 dollar per session
Lucas Pedroso Santos 5,000 for 8 weeks. He's got prices on his website.
There is a blood on his t-shirtat 2:10, but that's probably common when you train with Pakulski:)
you got a new sub
Tension is currency of hypertrophy💪💪💪
Thanks mate
Hey ben need your advice, iv been out of the loop of working out, i help this huy move his tfuvk off the road, and man i was short of breath and everything else. Any tips to getting back to shape safely with cardio and simply weights. Thanks mate..
Twat
Where dem compound movements @
damn Ben lower his stack a bit man he cant do 3 full tricep locks with that weight
Yep...which makes form bad, and thus defeats the point of the video....
George Bogdan damn, ben, lower the stack a bit. he cant do 3 full reps with that weight.
@Ze TheGame Maybe he worked out the day before? :o
@@danstafford5977 The entire tricep is worked no matter the grip. It's a hinge joint so it's not like any of the heads are ever not working.
thanks so much

Damn Ben I need to come learn from you.
I would love to have a day being taught by him.
Glad that I stumbled across your channel, it's definitely a cut above the standard fare on here. I just hope your trainees aren't too fragile for that doggy training treatment!
NICE!
2:16 injection spots always changing
This trainer, unlike a lot of the ones I've met, actually seems to know what the hell he's talking about. Would love to be trained by a guy like this.
He competed in Mr. Olympia, much more than a trainer
I think is 1500 dollars to train with Ben
Cosmin Iftode He graduated with honors in B.S in kinesiology.
Great job Ben.
Congrats from Recife, Brasil!!
Why don't they make proper long ropes?
lorenzoexperience15 they do
thank you for such awesome tips and info but your buddy John acts like he has no heart. All I see is him quiting on you. but your video is awesome got me amped to go hit my arms thank you Ben.
These hurt soo bad. I get such a good pump from this technique.
This guy is really struggling to lock out his tricep
Feels like everyone wanna punch ben in the face when he's pushing them. All PT's should strive for this
I have started doing this with the mind muscle connection and I've been getting fucking awesome triceps!!! this summer I'll have the horse shoe fucking deep
U r incredible
the guy working out is already the most jacked thing ever what coaching does he even need
Could you actually build muscle with this kind of technique without lifting heavy? Both of them are swole af but I can’t really tell if they always trained that way... seems kind unrealistic without lifting heavy to get that buffed ?
Anyone know John's last name?
You are doing a good job. Don't give up. You are so special and you will get super big muscles with hard work. Go to the library- read! Go to the gym -power! Go to the grave - late because you are so super healthy inside those arteries! 10/10 would watch again!
looks like the end of the video belongs to a chest workout, not a tricep workout
Iwan van de Weer - the previous video
John looks like a big Eminem
Pretty weird he didn't chose to do these exercises iso lateral. Great video though! Thanks!
1:21 i cracked my elbow.. aw shiiiii.
if you cant do 40lbs tricep extensions, drops the weight
yea nothing there to feed the ego. muscle has no ego problem, we do.
John should've reduced the weight by %40 at least. Great video!
Wait......, so is it “this”? Or is it....”this”? 😂
Imo the other guy looks better than Ben. js
Lord Bro-Science may look better but is hell of a lot weaker
Ok, so what's happend to John? Why he's not top competitioner?
stand up looool
watching this video also developes your empathy :D #lighterweighteshigherrates
Dump the podcast's bring this bck, telling you, following will increase ten fold.
Looks like he pinned his left lat prior to the video lol
drop the weight, it's too heavy, you can't complete your reps properly.
He couldnt even do 4, totally seems too much
or spot him so he can get the negative, to get the most work out of that set with that weight, then lower the weight maybe, IDK
😎😎😎😎
This just makes me want an actual workout partner :(
crossfitters please stop disliking
