For months, I struggled to come up with ANY ideas for original songs, either that or I hardly ever finished my songs. Thanks to your tutorial, specifically the parts in which you went into the steps of making a song, I was able to realize that the reason why I struggled to come up any ideas was because I was too hasty and was trying to compose the melodies first, rather than trying to compose the chords first. I composed the chords first and I finished my song. Not only did I finish my song, but this song was the best and longest song I made yet. Thank you so much for your wonderful, funny video!

did you know you can make a second layer of shapes appear on the note by holding left click over them? No? Well now you do, repeat this process in different parts of the notes down to thin up to expand to customize the note even further. :)
Once you learn the basics and train long enough, you'll be able to learn: That music, then This music, and finally, once you master the craft, you'll learn: THE music

Hey.. I know this isnt for that kind of music and I know its for a more simpler genre, but I notice the website asks for midi permission, I know it is for the midi record funciton, but what if I want the opposite? I want the sound to output to the midi (I use a vst roland made that simulates old synths) How do I do it? is there a function for it somewhere? if not, how do I know which drum instrument is which? I tried exporting it to midi before and the drums sounds strange....

keep in mind you don't have to use the default beepbox percussion, and you can instead make your own
