It's impossible to comprehend the sheer scale of this (and some other ones of simiar scale in China like Baetan in GZ or Binhai in TJ) development. It's bigger than NYC Manhattan... it's just incredible how Chinese cities are raising their game in urban development. Already Shenhen or Guangzhou are far superior in planning and most urban amenities than most cities in the West...

what this presentation really accomplishes is that fewer words and pointed information makes it clear in fractions of seconds. the whole video could be faster paced with even less talking, and you'd still get it. 7:10 to 8:30 is actually the weakest part; otherwise, this is what we should endeavor to do with all information. show A. condition B intent C technique D aesthetic E implications. that's all you need. process is beautiful for artists but it has no place in illuminating an idea.
