Jordan, loved seeing the Jahster having his run around, and HOW FABULOUS to see the LOVELY POLLYANNA again. Funny seeing her looking over the wall to see where he was. You are so right, I bet hardly anyone knew that was a Disney Studio. I hope the Jahster enjoyed his blueberry cookie? Nice vlog Jordan.

I was going to say the same thing about the 8mm splicer. I have been converting 8mm Christmas videos all week for the family Christmas present. Great sale anyway Jordan. Saw some unusual things on those tables. Loved the super jah shirt. Congrats on the accomplishments this year. Still high quality vlogs, and people are discovering you more every day. Great Job!

Oooooh yeah, now it makes sense. I remember the Snow White cottage vlog and you did say that many of the residents of the cottages worked down the street at a Disney studio and now I have a better sense of where the studio was and how it all ties together. Also, I listen to KFI almost every day so seeing the Trader Joe's that was such a huge story makes the vivid descriptions all the more clear. Thanks Jordan.

I love estate sales and have been to so many but there's always something very sad about them, it's kind of like ,oh, that's how you end up... Just a bunch of stuff for sale on a table or some Thrift Shop LOL

Frank, it may not be the case, there are many reasons for an estate sale, for example a friend of mine's parents had to sell their home / house and go into a senior's home building and after living at their home for 45 years they had all kinds of things to sell because their new place was a 2 bedroom teeny tiny apartment, so had to downsize drastically ..

I remember watching Jordan walk through Doris Roberts' estate sale and was very sad. It's probably silly, but there was something intrusive about watching strangers handle her things.

Gelson's use to be Mayfair Market when I lived in Silverlake in the late eighties. Once lived on a hillside across from the 5 fwy. right next to the old Red Car line. Very Historic, could see the remains of the road bed, but was very noisy from the freeway!

LOVE Estate Sales, usually go to about one a month. My strategy is to go the first day for the best selection and the last day for the best price. I don’t have room for too many things so I’m pretty careful about what I buy if anything. Most are pretty disappointing but it’s fun to see into other peoples lives… kind of like we get to see into yours and Jah’s lives, which we enjoy immensely. Thanks much!

The one item you didn't know what it was is a portable film editor. Perhaps for 8 or Super 8mm. I have one myself. Back in the 70's, a few fiends and myself use make our own "backyard movies". By the looks of it, the one you found may be a bit older. Perhaps from the 60's. I wonder what happened to the family which brought them to sell off all their positions. (Though they seem to have a lot of stuff. Sort of reminds me of the ending of "Citizen Kane"). Great vlog, Jordan!

I enjoyed seeing the estate sale Asian pieces which were so delicate and intricate. I’m glad Jah takes up for himself. Showing the location of the beginnings of Disney animation was awesome! So sorry about the death of the manager at the Trader Joe’s.

Wow that's really sad that that young lady died at the Trader Joe's shooting, I just read about it and she was shot by police gunfire. Her brother said online "I just lost my baby sister, my world. " What a sad situation.

Kind of cool mansion, although it looks like the kitchen and bathrooms were last remodeled in the 1960's. Place looks worn, but the living room and dining rooms had some amazing woodwork. I am wondering if anyone has bought the place and if it will be remodeled or torn down and another strip mall built? Maybe you can update us on the place, if anything happens to it. I love old houses and love seeing them restored. Give Jah a hug!

We miss you here in LA!
So much history here, Japanese flower farmers started their own downtown flower mart. I bought a home that was originally built for a Japanese family. So little is known, and I've given up trying to restore the history of my house 😭.

The Mansfield item you said....not sure what it is.....it is a DIY film editing/splicing for whatever mm film ....like taking old super 8 movies back in the day before video cameras. When you insert the film....it shows up in the small viewer screen....then if you don't like scenes that didn't turn out.....or blurry.....just advance the reel until you see the film parts you want to remove.Press a button and it cuts the film.....then there is a splice area where you use clear cel tape to add more film....or edit in or out anything you want.My guys dad had one similar. And so now you know Jordan....looking closer...this edit set up looks more like it is for size 16mm movie film. And also looks like it has motorized reel drives instead of hand cranks.
