    Been competing/mentoring/volunteering in robotics for 12 years, and this is easily one of the best concise robot design videos I've seen. Lot of good info here. Good luck in Freight Frenzy.

    Im a vex guy and the 2022 - 2023 vrc game uses super similar rings so this video was SUPER helpful in prototyping and stuff, tysm.

    Your robot is amazing! It functions great and it looks killer. I feel like this would be Batman’s ftc bot

      Wow, that's really kind. The kids worked super hard to make it look great. Take a look at the teaser for this year's bot.

    When did the floppy fabric intake get implemented, and what was the thought behind it?

    • @francisschaeffer2243
      @francisschaeffer2243 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Owen can tell you more, but until he sees this, I can put in a short answer. The team thought that a pleather outer intake roller would knock down rolling rings. They got the idea from Black Forest Robotics who demonstrated it at the Park City event in Utah. Knocking down rolling rings allowed Wolfpack to intake rings as quickly as they arrived at the robot. This worked great for remote events, but the team went to another outer roller design for MTI.
