@@azplayzgachablox Yup! Not Like Us was his most recent upload when I found him. Thought it was hilarious and was inspired to parody the rap track stuck in my head the most at the time: Killshot. Wrote the lyrics intermittently over a couple of days and only had one session to record it, that's why the ending came out rushed. Sent it to him personally and never intended on uploading it. He's the one who convinced me to, and later convinced me to finish the sample of Houdini, and I'm so glad he did. I feel like I haven't said it enough, huge credit to Rey and his parodies!
As someone who has listened to Houdini probably thousands of times at this point, this is great! Very well put together, very true to the original. That minecraft movie trailer snippet was really well implemented.

I'm realizing that Minecraft parodies weren't shitty because they were parodies, no, it was because in the past, it was all trashy pop music parodies, and this shit is so fire
The lack of variation in pop lyrics gives less chances to relate to MC, that and the usually phoned in preformances of the singers makes the novelty of the parody kind of wear off after the first few listens. I wanted this to go beyond that initial novelty by putting some serious work into it lyrically and vocally, glad to hear you think I succeeded!
@@lealty7115 tbh I just think pop songs are typically awful, especially around 2010 era, cringe lyrics, mid instrumentals, and the vocal inflections were not good either, also the attempt to mix in elements of dubstep sometimes were just not it tbh But you made this off a great song, catchy rhythm, nice rhymes, and you made it work, and with the jack black cameo this video was perfect
