I mean, all that Midoriya and Bakugou were told was the backstory to his scar. I don’t think Shoto ever told them about the abuse until Dabi decided to do a little dancy dance
@@charadreemur7990 the scar was abuse. shouto said himself, she burnt him because she couldnt bare his left side as it looked far too much like his father. he didn't explicitly say, my father abused my mother and family but its heavily implied and pretty clear. although, its true they werent aware of the extent of the abuse, or much about touya. bakugo and midoriya came over to the todorokis house and witnessed some of the tension, witnessed natsuo snapping at endeavour, fuyumi crumpling to the ground. my point was that they were somewhat aware, but it woukd still be shocking to hear some of your assumptions about a good friends childhood turn out to be fact. /nm i must say, the best description of dabis reveal has gitta be "little dancy dance" 😭 tbh id kill to be able to hear the rest of the leagues inner voice during that. toga was still coming to terms with jins death, shigaraki was creating havoc, mr.compress was just trying to hold onto gigantomachia, spinner was.. somewhere, they look over because dabi has just drawn everyones attention to himself, he pours water over his head, the heroes aee shocked and the villians are just, "he dyes his hair? was that really necessary? what was the point in that?" he calls endeavour, "father!" and they all just "🧍"

And I was going off the assumption that this video was meant to take place sometime in between the sports festival and Bakugou and Midoriya going to the Todoroki household cause I’m not very observant and had no idea what timeline it was. I don’t believe he ever told Midoriya (and accidentally Bakugou) that she burnt him because his left side looked like his father, as far as I remember he just said “she called my left side unbearable before pouring boiling water on my face.” I could be wrong, I’m not entirely sure.
