Agreed!!! What's so odd to me is that CLC has some of the best discography in kpop, yet they never made it big. Like all of their songs slap. It literally just doesn't make sense why they aren't more popular. They were the perfect girl group. Ultimately it came down to Cube's shitty promotion and mismanagement that ruined them.

But I think we can all agree that Cube was on the exact same mindset as Pledis was in terms of Pristin- not giving them great promotions, giving away good songs for them, no notice to fans of future projects, etc. I fully believe they were more than likely looking at other options, i.e. putting their stock in the future of (G)I-DLE. No hate on that group of course, I love both of them, but it was clear for a while that they were just about ready to hand the reins over to them and give up on CLC altogether. But the fans kept the momentum going for them, which is why Cube changed their minds and finally started pumping better production into a clearly talented group. So yes, in a way I agree with you, but I honestly think they were on the path of dropping them had it not been for the fans sincere and earnest support of them through everything.
@@XsomebodyXx Eeeeh, I wouldn't say that's accurate. We've seen plenty of occasions where fans had PLENTY of pull when it comes to their faves. A few examples come to mind, like SUJU and the basically permanent hiatus of Sungmin after fans were angered by his marriage. They can even have things as simple as choreography changed- case in point, those weird burpee style moves they had Itzy doing. Fans complained that it was too difficult and weird for the girls, and then magically one day the move got changed to something simpler. Currently, as well as in the past, we've even seen them force apologies from foreign idols for alleged insensitivity towards cultural affairs (stay strong Sana and Tzuyu). There are several examples out there, but I politely disagree that fans can do nothing and have no say when it comes to the groups they support. I agree that they don't ALWAYS have control over what happens (or else we'd still have Pristin here), but many times they have a lot more pull than you're giving credit, as history past and present has shown for idols and idol groups.

CLC is the rare kind of group which comes back with a better song than the last. You can see the members improving in almost every aspect, whether it's dancing, vocals, confidence or visuals. They raise the bar every time, these girls deserve to go global and be as huge as BlackPink.

Imo this is the only kpop mv that has tons of easter eggs and I'll try to crack it as much as I could ; -First, the title called 'Me' which in chinese, means beauty (mei), they're using this chinese character at the very end of this mv. -they're wearing hanbok and military outfit and vice versa means that beauty comes in every form, be it feminine (hanbok), or stronger one, almost like masculine (military outfit) . -Seungyeon behind a glass window with a painting of a lady in 0:27. That lady is Venus, the goddess of beauty from Ancient Rome Gods. It looks like she was trapped, in a box sorta almost like an exhibit for people to watch but in 2:16 , the glass was covered in black painting, and later , get smashed with the elk's head as her (Seungyeon) beauty will never be defined by anyone and can only be defined by her and herself only (since Venus is the literal form of beauty, she was idolised by people) -In chorus (0:56), we can see a white wall with a red stroke, symbolises danger and threats. - my personal favourite easter eggs, In 1:09 , the dance involved them doing the swipe down motion with their hand in front of their face. In sign language, this movement specifically means beauty or beautiful.

@@onlyblink4532 there are many groups that are underrated as you say. dreamcatcher and clc are among the elite talents (dancing, vocals, rap etc everything is over the top and thru the roof). if these two groups were to be given points from 1 to 100 based on how talented they are they would get 400 (and i say this as a non-dreamcatcher fan). we can all agree there are groups that have catchy songs and are very popular but are less good somewhere like in dancing or overall rapping/vocals. Try dreamcatcher and clc's other songs and dance practices and see for yourself

Uncanny resemblance to chanmina. Dang it's been at least 2 years since I'm listened to clc. Currently binging all of their songs. In those 2 years I found many artists and chanmina as well. Was wondering why the main rapper sound so familiar, like I've heard her outside clc. Turns out she sounds so much like chanmina. Dang this group slayed real hard. Nostalgia.

Everybody has different taste but for me this is CLC's best title track, not to mention this song is super underrated...
Agreed!!! What's so odd to me is that CLC has some of the best discography in kpop, yet they never made it big. Like all of their songs slap. It literally just doesn't make sense why they aren't more popular. They were the perfect girl group. Ultimately it came down to Cube's shitty promotion and mismanagement that ruined them.

I love CLC with all my heart and I was worried CUBE would have given up on them because before their comeback for NO, it was rumoured they would have disbanded CLC so I’m happy that CLC is still together and that CUBE had the right business mindset to keep pushing CLC for another comeback.
I'm not giving Cube any damn credit after all the crap they pulled. I give full credit to fans like you who gave them all your support when their company was being completely terrible to them. But I think we can all agree that Cube was on the exact same mindset as Pledis was in terms of Pristin- not giving them great promotions, giving away good songs for them, no notice to fans of future projects, etc. I fully believe they were more than likely looking at other options, i.e. putting their stock in the future of (G)I-DLE. No hate on that group of course, I love both of them, but it was clear for a while that they were just about ready to hand the reins over to them and give up on CLC altogether. But the fans kept the momentum going for them, which is why Cube changed their minds and finally started pumping better production into a clearly talented group. So yes, in a way I agree with you, but I honestly think they were on the path of dropping them had it not been for the fans sincere and earnest support of them through everything.

@@XsomebodyXx Eeeeh, I wouldn't say that's accurate. We've seen plenty of occasions where fans had PLENTY of pull when it comes to their faves. A few examples come to mind, like SUJU and the basically permanent hiatus of Sungmin after fans were angered by his marriage. They can even have things as simple as choreography changed- case in point, those weird burpee style moves they had Itzy doing. Fans complained that it was too difficult and weird for the girls, and then magically one day the move got changed to something simpler. Currently, as well as in the past, we've even seen them force apologies from foreign idols for alleged insensitivity towards cultural affairs (stay strong Sana and Tzuyu). There are several examples out there, but I politely disagree that fans can do nothing and have no say when it comes to the groups they support. I agree that they don't ALWAYS have control over what happens (or else we'd still have Pristin here), but many times they have a lot more pull than you're giving credit, as history past and present has shown for idols and idol groups.
I swear this song get better with time. Several years out and groups just catching up to this vibe.

-First, the title called 'Me' which in chinese, means beauty (mei), they're using this chinese character at the very end of this mv.
-they're wearing hanbok and military outfit and vice versa means that beauty comes in every form, be it feminine (hanbok), or stronger one, almost like masculine (military outfit) .
-Seungyeon behind a glass window with a painting of a lady in 0:27. That lady is Venus, the goddess of beauty from Ancient Rome Gods. It looks like she was trapped, in a box sorta almost like an exhibit for people to watch but in 2:16 , the glass was covered in black painting, and later , get smashed with the elk's head as her (Seungyeon) beauty will never be defined by anyone and can only be defined by her and herself only (since Venus is the literal form of beauty, she was idolised by people)
-In chorus (0:56), we can see a white wall with a red stroke, symbolises danger and threats.

@@onlyblink4532 there are many groups that are underrated as you say. dreamcatcher and clc are among the elite talents (dancing, vocals, rap etc everything is over the top and thru the roof). if these two groups were to be given points from 1 to 100 based on how talented they are they would get 400 (and i say this as a non-dreamcatcher fan).
we can all agree there are groups that have catchy songs and are very popular but are less good somewhere like in dancing or overall rapping/vocals. Try dreamcatcher and clc's other songs and dance practices and see for yourself
